Today I got the short tube for the BLF GT. ( bought separately )
Two sealing rings are mounted ! :+1:
She was sent from Germany.
Thank you Neal & M4D M4X & Texas_Ace and all the Users who have given their time for this project, also The Miller not forgotten. :+1:

What a big short tube. :person_facepalming:

I haven’t received mine yet… :frowning:

Help i can not answer normally, only quote works not Save and Preview…

That is a good question, I would contact the admin with the link on the left hand side of the page about that.

I can’t wait to see what you come up with.

I have had a few requests for Anduril on the MT09R’s I have been modding but I have never tried it myself yet. Is there a setup in the firmware for 2s and 4S lights? I think I am using the Q8 pinout, whatever the default FET+1 pinout in narsil is.

I’m confused on how the shipping thing works, once I get my pm I pay the fee then what are the next steps? I’d appreciate the help (I’m number 1508 so I should be in the next batch)

Once you get your PM it will give you all the instructions. It will basically give you the website and the password to the order page. Then you can add the items you want into your cart, such as the GT and maybe the carry bag or the short battery tube or batteries, etc… Then the payment is done through PayPal.

Since you are in the US it will automatically be shipped through DHL with no extra shipping fees. So once it leaves lumintop you would get it within 3 to 5 days most likely. (This is what it was in previous US orders)

I am guessing you did not watch the video in post #1? If you go to 1:35 you can see the ordering and checkout process.

Today, two BLF GTs arrived:

They’re a bit ridiculous though, at least inside of a city where there simply isn’t enough room for a mile-long beam. So here’s another shot of the twins next to some more practical lights:

Thanks for clairifying it

Would Samsung 30Qs be a good battery to use with this light?

I knew they were big, but holy cow, thats absurd LOL.
Hoping to go up on Skyline Pkwy by Enger tower and light up the grain elevators by the harbor when it shows up

30Q’s will be more than enough, but 35E seem to be the recommended cell for longer run time. This light doesn’t need the high amp supply as the light is only drawing 2.5A.

Sweet! I’ve been wondering when you would finally get your GT.

My fingers are crossed that Andúril and the GT play nicely without giving you much trouble.

I need lightning mode to harass my friend who lives a block away.

Wait for a night when we have a 2000-3000 foot ceiling, and shine it due east. I should be able to see it from Ashland. Better yet, when mine shows up, we’ll have to try and converge them over Iron River. They’ll think the world is coming to an end. :open_mouth:

So is the shipping version of this light warm or cool white and what is the candela roughly because I knew it changed through the build process as far as I know

Group buy versions are shipping with a 4,000k XHP35.

They are generally tested between 1Mcd and 1.2Mcd. I just took a reading last night and got 1.1Mcd

Ok, here are the results of my testing with the Dr Meter LX1330B lux meter and the XHP70.2 GT.

These readings are at 10m, outside.

First the stock GT for a reference point.

- 1.1 Mcd for a total of 2100m of throw

Next up is the XHP70.2 80cri GT with dome on

- 560 Kcd for a total of 1500m of throw with over 9,000 lumens!

Lastly the XHP70.2 80cri GT with sliced dome

- 750 Kcd for a total of 1725m of throw with over 9,000 lumens!

So needless to say I am pretty happy with the results. A P2 bin XHP70.2 could most likely get a bit more then this but I didn’t have any on hand when I put these together.

Here are some very crude beam shots that kind of show the difference.

Dome on > Dome sliced > Stock GT

Stock GT:

XHP70.2 sliced Dome GT

XHP70.2 dome on GT

I am officially listing both of these lights for sale and I can swap the LED to something else if someone wanted.

I will post a thread for them later when I have some time. PM me if interested. They will not be cheap sadly, this is one of the only ways I am making money off this project and I need the money.

I could only get 4 of these prototype mcpcb’s so I can’t make anymore of these unless they put it into production down the line. Which they are still not giving me a straight answer, hopefully these results will bring them around.
