Cool project that of the lantern. The LH351B is a 5W rated emitter, it could help to use multiple emitters and be able to get much more output. With quad 3535 boards like these, the lantern could be configured either with 4S battery, buck driver and 2S2P emitters or 2S2P battery, boost driver and 4S emitters; for examples. The boards can be bought in bulk much cheaper, of course.
- I may be interested in buy some of the 3000K & 4000K versions of these in addition to the BLF lantern project test ones if they are available. (sent you a PM.)
My first order from the initial batch arrived in Ontario a couple days ago. I’m not home until Sunday but looking forward to playing with them in a few lights
Got my leds a few days ago, and I must say, they are really nice. The LH351Ds trump my 4000K nichias in just about every aspect, more output and less tint shift, but they are a little bit colder (4200K). I put some in a triple and it’s awesome.
The 3000K LH351Bs are also nice and warm, and are a perfect fit for previous XP-G2 lights.
Did AEDe go missing? ( he has been offline for 8 + days. I sent him some messages but haven’t heard back. (been trying to get 4 of each of the 3000K & 4000K high CRI LH351’s for the BLF Lantern project testing.
