“I changed my mind”

I ordered a 86.2 mm Reflector from Kaidomain.com 4 wks ago. I had just made an account but noticed after i ordered it that i was not logged in. They think i never ordered anything. I have Emailed them numerous times and at first they wanted the PayPal ticket #, so i sent it, now they want my PayPal account info. PayPal cannot do anything about companies outside the US. Is there any Kaidomain reps here that can help ? I do not know if they will ever ship it. I sent them pics of the PayPal receipt also.

My order was almost 10 days ago but they aren’t ship yet ,sent the mail but no reply.

KD seems a little slower to get things shipped, but it has always showed up at my door.
I contacted BanL a week ago or so, response took a couple days but was very helpful in solving the problem.

took forever but I got mine… same lack of communication and shitty site interface.

Another vote for slow, but reliable (I’ve only ordered from the a couple of times).

If KD can’t find where you ordered and paid, then it might be simpler to file a claim and explain the situation to PP and get your money back. Then log in and reorder. I know its a pain, but it might be quicker if they can’t find your order.
Sometimes when you file a dispute it gets the ball rolling a little quicker too.

In the fine print on PayPal, it is stated that companies outside the US it is a problem getting your money back. I may never do that again.

Any solution after all? I am also having a problem with my orders…

Kaidomain has always been very reliable to me as far as items showing up, never lost a package out of 30+ orders over time.

But I never made an account, I never worried about shipping time, I never tried to contact them. It came when it came, mostly quite fast actually, 2 weeks typical in the last two years.

If it came within 1 month i would not be worried as well but there is no shipping info after 1mo so i am worried now.

We finally received a response, BanL is working the problem. They offered a refund, but I want to wait on the reflector, it is in production. Still waiting on an order# receipt. This is my first order with them and they are in China so shipping is 2 wks min. Thank You guys for the help getting in touch with BanL, that helped a lot. I had rather not get a refund because that takes even more time and trouble for them too.

Kaidomain is always slow. However, selecting registered airmail makes this much faster.

Well i’ve used on all orders registered air mail and it didn’t helped.

Oh really? I ordered the BLF Q8 AR lens from there without registered shipping, and it was in transit for 3 months before it came home!

Now? I had an order two weeks ago and it is now in Canadian customs.

I hope it isn’t just luck though.

My last order was on 4/25 took around 4 to 5 days to get a shipping notice, received my stuff 5/15.
Not to bad to the US for regular airmail and free shipping.

This order was placed 4/21/18 and I still do not even have a order # or proof of anything except the PayPal transaction.

My first two orders went well. Both shipped within a day or two, and arrived in ~two weeks.

My most recent order is another story. The shipment notification came within a few days, but there was no tracking number. After waiting a week or so, I started making inquiries through email, their contact form, and finally, via PM here. I wanted to know if it was waiting on a backordered item, or forgotten, shipped, and if a tracking # was available. No reply for about a week, then a reply via PM with a promise to investigate, but no follow-up.

I finally got some email replies about a week ago. At the beginning of this week they said it was in transit. I asked again for a tracking code, and this time they gave me one. It took ~6 weeks from the time I placed the order to get this far. From the tracking information it looks like it was received by the courier at about the same time they finally sent me a tracking code. So, I still have no idea whether something went wrong with the initial shipment, and they just shipped a replacement, or if nothing got shipped until this past week. I suspect the latter.

From the tracking info, it looks like it left Hong Kong by air two days ago, so I’m guessing it is in the US by now, waiting to be transferred to USPS and clear customs.

It sounds like this isn’t an unusual experience with KD. Some orders go quickly and smoothly, some , much less so. I’ll probably continue ordering them, for now, but only stuff I can’t get elsewhere, at all, or for a reasonbable price. I just fear that at some point, their inconsistent service will catch up with them, and they will cease to be, which isn’t good for anyone.

I have Good news, the order# was sent to my PayPal Email address (which I keep separate for security reasons). I was not expecting to see it there because I gave them a different one when the order was placed. My bad for not checking it. No problems, just need to wait for the reflector to be manufactured, no problem there either because they sell the biggest one I can find and I hope they do well and stay in business since they sell some unusual items. I’m sorry for the confusion on this. Kaidomain is far away with a different language, but they provide a service we need to keep using. BanL is a big help, Thank You :slight_smile:

Glad you got everything worked out CNCman. I have been a customer of their’s for 6 years or more. Never had any problems with receiving what I ordered, besides at times a little slow to ship. I just don’t order thinking I’ll have my stuff in 2 weeks, I expect 3 to 4 and if it gets here a little earlier I’m just tickled. :+1:

I give up , it’s been 14 days with no response, so we are attempting to get a refund. Pretty sure that’s not going to happen either.
