Thanks for your explanation, is this film good for making a long light diffuser, like a saber?
No, it spreads the light out, takes out rings, reduces throw a little.
Well, it might be good for a saber, depending on the size/shape of the tube used for the saber. But, I think most tubes that are good size/shape for saber use are already frosted, right? Also, I don’t know if DC-Fix is flexible enough to stretch over the rounded end of a saber tube. I’ve never tried it. If you figure all that stuff out, and have a tube you want to use that isn’t frosted already, I think DC-Fix could do the trick. Oh, one other thing to consider is that most DC-Fix will have some kind of visible pattern texture on the surface. In fact, I don’t know if any of them don’t. Someone else would have to answer that.
I misunderstood , I thought he was asking about a pencil beam type thrower. Like when its foggy.
Wow, received them!
That was quick!
Thanks Boaz

Dc-fix sent !
I use this stuff when I want to eliminate the hotspot . I use it on headlamps , short distance flooders , and my bike lights .
I received a few pieces of the DC Fix this week. I put it on a couple lights with mostly XM-L2 emitters to get rid of the greenish corona. The result was actually brighter and smoother than the photos show.
This is a Thorfire VG-10S side by side before and after—-
A couple Sofirns side by side the similarity to the Thorfire is obvious.
Also a couple different Thorfires side by side one has a warmer tint.
Got my DC-Fix in today, great stuff!

PM sent, order placed. Thanks!
Received today, thanks Boaz
I’ve been pretty impressed how much it knocks out green tints in certain lights . I’ll also been a bit hesitant to sell it as a green tint killer but it did the same thing to my thorfire xpl 4AAA lights .
I think I’m allergic to green …
Thanks again for the nice pics
Received my order very quickly, just haven’t decided what light to try it on first. Maybe my Zebralight h53c, which has a slight green tint. Thanks, Boaz!
Hello! As I understand from the reports, then you can buy a diffuser (film) for Emisar D1?
Please clarify how this is established. Very interested. I’m from Ukraine.

I love this stuff. Just put some on a Lumintop ODF30 last night. I couldn’t get the bezel off so I had to trim very carefully to fit it from the top. Damn, it really did a nice job of blending the beam and getting rid of some of the green and yellow in the beam. I didn’t use the light much because of the weird colors. Now I will be using it much more often. I didn’t get a before shot but I got an afterward. If someone has a before please post it. I would but it was a pain to get it on the lens and I’m not taking if off and going through that again.
