Dolidada cells with low capacity and an inaccurate Zanflare C4

Danke Dir light-wolff! Those 30Qs were from NKON which is to my mind a trustworthy reseller from the Netherlands. So, as I stated above this post - the charger seem to be inaccurate.

Thank you, also for checking your 30Qs capacity for comparison. I will repeat the test with my MC3000 and report back.

Thanks Lightbringer! Your comment made me start to smile…“Didgeridoo”…haha. Yeah, I’m gonna ask the seller about his opinion. I just need to eradicate all the other variables in the equation before (i.e. to assess the capacity in the MC3000 for comparison). According to the charger I’m not sure how to proceed. If I ask Gearbest they would - in the best case - probably just send me another inaccurate C4 charger.

I have just revised the topic description. I hope nobody minds.

Are those numbers in the photo Discharge Capacities?

Yes.

I just learned that I am not the only one having these issues with the C4…

…as a result of all comments ordered 5 dolidada for $18.59 .Good price for 5000mAH battery and the name it’s so beautiful.
I will test with my original Lii-500.

If they change their name to ’ a do do do, a da da da ’ … I’ll order 5 more, promise!

or Oblady oblada for Beatles fans

Hahahaha, you just made my day! :+1:

I love this song…

Oh shucks…I have forgotten and just realized that that song was sang by Sting!

Will listen to it again….

Sting was singer for The Police

I have concluded my Discharge test using my iCharger of a 30q after 14h, 07min. Capacity: 2,860mAh @ .20a — photo in post # 11

from what i see peeking up from the + end those look like the ebl 5000 i got a bunch of.
every one was above 5000 after 2-3 cycles.
but the results with your 30q’s leads me to believe that analyzer is inaccurate.

That’s my long-time observation too….when I started in this hobby almost 6 years ago, I started out with laptop pulls only, no analyzing chargers then, the reason why I got the iCharger (and the Pila IBC and Maha C9000) at that time.

I remember that the only time a cell rating had actually reach or exceed by a bit its mAh rating on the lable from reputable manufacturer is when I set my iCharger to discharge down to 2.50V.

Innacurate cheap analyzing chargers? Welcome to the real world fellows. The current sense resistors used by these devices feature 1% tolerance, let's just start with this, and there are more variables over the table. I believe my Lii-500 measures close to 2% less, based on my observations for various cells.

Cheers :-)

I wrote an honest review about the Zanflare C4 on Gearbest’s website. After that, their customer service team contacted me in order to solve the issues I have with my device. I explained in detail about the high deviations concerning the capacity measurement incl. the fact that charging slot #2 always indicates much more than the other slots.

So…eventually, this is what Gearbest calls “problem solution”. Thank you very much! :person_facepalming:

Dear Thomas,

Thank you for your patiencer.

This charger comes with a volume detection function. Voltage accuracy deviation 2; Current accuracy deviation 5; Time accuracy deviation 1. The capacity is tested by charging voltage, current, and time calculations. Due to the fact that it is not a special compartment, the current market can only achieve a 10 accuracy deviation.

The use of interference Including factors: such as the ambient temperature, humidity, battery type, if the battery installed contacts are good or not and so on. For example, if use different brands of the sub-capacity tester to test, there will be some deviations.

Thank you for your understanding.

Best Regards

No battery, charger, or light content whatsoever.

But fond memories………

Well…talking about having faith in Zanflare’s C4 I’d rather listen to this today…
