Not really at this point. Lumintop wants to empty (or mostly empty) the warehouse of the GT’s they have in stock before they do anything new for the GT. They are just now breaking even / turning a profit so they are understandably hesitant to start any new projects right now.
I am pretty sure it will happen but weather it is 2 months or 9 months I can’t say.
worst case we can make our own but it would suck for everyone to do that and then lumintop to release the same thing a month later.
In other news I talked lumintop into selling me another prototype xhp70.2 mcpcb and will be building another XHP70.2 GT (possibly 2 if they let me buy 2, due to the very low production run for these they are very expensive, why they didn’t just do a full batch I do not understand).
I plan to list it on ebay auction once it is ready but if anyone on BLF is interested, let me know. I would prefer it go to a fellow BLF’er.
I thought the 32mm diameter 6v mcpcb were easily available, you just have to cut some traces and add a jumper wire to make it 12v. It’s a fair bit smaller than the 45mm stock unit, though. Maybe some spacers can be used to raise the screws higher to prevent the black centering ring from rotating. Even though the actual mcpcb could still rotate, my guess is it will not.
Yes, that can be done but it pushes the mod into the advanced mod category. I have built a few like this and all of them was a royal pain to get the LED reflowed without it shorting out. Plus the smaller mcpcb is going to be hard to mount but not impossible.
It is indeed an option for the modders among us with the skills but it is one of those things that if someone has to ask how to do it, then they should not be doing it. Which is why I don’t bring it up much.

According to Lumintop, it was sent on February, looks like it’s missing in transit.
Asked again - twice - what’s going on , no reply for now.
Sigh… a little disappointed
I have contacted Leo, as I was told in the PM.
On April, 23rd I got reply that the package appears missing/stuck in transit and they are contacing the forwarder for explaining.
I sent another mail (for Leo) asking about it on May, 16th and June, 9th. Didn’t get a reply for those mails.
It was my understanding that missing packages were declared lost in early/mid May and replacements were sent the week of May 23rd.
If Leo is not responding, then please try Neal. He should be able to confirm if your replacement was shipped and give you a tracking number. Hopefully it is on the way.
Ok, in that case as Jason said you should have a replacement on the way as of a few weeks ago. Neal should have the tracking number for it by now, so you can contact him and he should be able to update you now.
I placed an order for 1 flashlight, 8 batteries,short tube, carrying bag and two lens cover! The flashlight were deliver first and I contact Neal told him about it, the second package deliver around two weeks after that but only contains the bag and two lens covers! Still didn’t receive the 8 batteries and the short tube! So what should I do, just wait and see? I did contact Neal and still didn’t get any confirmation for him!
It’s likely he’s not able to ship the batteries due to new shipping laws. I think a couple other US buyers got refunds for the batteries and bought some from US stores instead.
I don’t know why the short tube was missing. Could be they are low on stock and have to ship a bit later. Or maybe they got your order wrong.
Neal is the person that can find out what’s going on with your order. If you already contacted him you might need to wait a few days for a response.
p_dedy, I just checked what Texas_Ace said about the shipping of batteries and that only applies to batteries bought seperately. If you bought your batteries at the same time as the light, then they are capable of being shipped as long as it’s inside the light.
If you bought them together then they may have made a mistake and forgot to install them in the light. Whatever the reason, Neal can’t send them seperately, so I’m sure he’ll need to refund you on those.

Yes I bought the light and all the accessories together at the same time! I’ve contact him on FB messenger when I receive the second package without the batteries and the short tube! Thank for the info JasonWW
