FW3A, a TLF/BLF EDC flashlight - SST-20 available, coupon codes public

The LH351D in both 4000k and 5000k have been tested, both by Maukka and djozz. And from them, they said that the LH351D in both color temperatures was awesome, about as good as the Nichia 219C and Luxeon V.

I only have the 4000k R9070 version of the LED in my Thorfire TK15, and it is truly awesome, and makes for an awesome EDC.

Put me on the list please

This is why I’m on the list for four of them. I’ll do it myself.

I’m very much a CRI snob though, so probably no XP-L HI or XP-G2. I can’t not have a 219C version of course, and I’ll very likely try the LH351C, which Digikey has here in single quantities, 4000K, 90 CRI. (I know the page doesn’t list the CCT and CRI, but Octopart does.)

:person_facepalming: …. My, my, my…… :person_facepalming: … :frowning:

Forgive my ignorance, but who is Nellie the Elephant?

Beats me… I myself am also at a loss of any significance associated with that ’statement’ made by Tom Tom.
BUT…… fwiw……I did find a picture of “Nellie”. :person_facepalming:
.

I hadn’t heard of this before either, but wikipedia has some info. It seems to be a song which played on BBC radio in the 1950s and 1960s. It lists this for lyrics:

FFS Nellie is trumpety trump.

Here’s a vid:

I’m surprised I needed to mention this.

It’s a bit laughable in most regions, we like dumbo too who can fly with his ears.

Well, if nothing else, she looks like someone my niece would be fond of. :stuck_out_tongue:

Too funny
This is what happens to threads when the waiting is too long for our torches

As far as I know, Toy Keeper isn’t from the United States. Maybe I’m wrong.

Which is why your comment didn’t make sense.

I asked to be added to the list for one at post #1970.
Checking back in 5 months later to say I’m still interested in one.
Thanks
Russ

You are still on the list at #852.

Despite being 1/4 Welsh (my middle name is Wynne) to my shame I don’t speak the lingo. The UK is really quite a diverse country with several languages. English being the common denominator, which helps.

Swearing and cursing is fairly universal though, even if we don’t quite understand each other the meaning gets across…

Well, I know of a few stand-up comedians across the big pond. If you could filter out all the rude words from their shows, you would be looking for a stand-in comedian to fill the time after the break.

Edit: I do enjoy watching “A night at the Apollo”.

Suddenly I have seven Rude points.

Perhaps some don’t get satire, it’s not as if I burned the flag, just jested a bit about the POTUS.

Ah well.

I joined BLF for this. 1 for me please.

It is well known that satire is not understood by everyone, and on the internet you are in fact talking to everyone. So part of your communication arsenal, however fun and harmless, may better be reserved for one’s own friends/part of the world. Or else live with a couple of rude points every now and then

Don’t quit your day job. It sounds pretty lucrative even with the brain damage.
