Crazy Eddie’s was just east of Jackson Ave by maybe 1000 feet. Guess what, I met the guy that used to do the Crazy Eddie commercials. They did one at the Syosset store. At the time I was living in Plainview. You know where that is?
East… hmm. Nowadays there’s a McD’s, small mall with a Petco, etc., and am drawing a blank if I recall CE being there.
Oh yeh, Eddie Antsomething. He’s funny…
Depends which area(s). Knew everything from BHR/OCR where the IHOP used to be (damn, miss that one…), up to pretty much the beginning of Woodbury (Manetto Hill Rd).
Used to be (maybe still is) a really nice sit-down chinese-food place in the supermarket “mall” (Shop Rite?).
I lived behind Morton Village Shopping Center. Grace Street. Look it up on google maps.
BTW, Shoprite used to be Finest Supermarket when I lived there.
One other thing, I went to Joyce Road Elemeteray School, Mattlin Junior High School Right off Manetto Hill Rd on Washington Ave, and Plainview/ Old Bethpage High School. Graduated in 1970
Love them!! One of the most refreshing bands I heard in the last years!!
The one being played on stage is called Cidade (take a “listen” to the original EP, from the minute 14.20: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b5T764TI_X0 !!
That must have been an amazing festival, BTW
It is - my favourite festival. Over 100 bands, 3 stages, 7 days of metal music.
In mountain valley between two emerald blue rivers … perfect ambient, good food, nice people from all over the world, not too crowded like Wacken or Hellfest …. Most relaxing week in whole year.
Niiiice festival, gorgeaus place !!!
I now know why you said “Most relaxing week in whole year.” It has all the conditions for that! Including the music
Thanks for sharing, didn’t know this festival!
Glad I could help about the music as well :+1:
