Pushing 1000 lumens+ out of these LEDs is amazing though. They are still 30% better than equivalent Nichia 219C LEDs.

Just replying to TA. I like this LED in all floody lights tbh

LH351D 4000K 90CRI
0s: 5,095lm | 30s: 4,687lm

These numbers were adjusted to be in line with Djozz-lumens

Thanks for the info, impressive numbers for a 90cri LED.

I am sure there have been beamshots posted but does anyone know where they are in this thread?

With a spring bypass and everything?

@Texas Ace, no sorry. There is not a 4500k option that you have to order less than 800pcs, but there is a 5000k option.

In fact, I have gathered a list of all the LH351D 90CRI that I have found that you can order in single quantities.

Here is 5000k 90+CRI:
https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/samsung-semiconductor-inc/SPHWH…

Here is 4000k 90+CRI:
https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/samsung-semiconductor-inc/SPHWH…

Here is 3500k 90+CRI:

https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/samsung-semiconductor-inc/SPHWH…

2700k 90+CRI:
https://www.digikey.ca/product-detail/en/samsung-semiconductor-inc/SPHWH…

Links don’t work sadly.

Hmm, I just might get a combo of 4000k and 5000k and make my own 4500k setup!

Is this Group buy still open? Or do we have to buy then from digikey now? I didn’t see a recent update in the op and have not had time to read BLF outside of my own threads this whole year.

How much floodier are they then the XP-L? IIRC the die size was about the same?

What as the results of slicing / dedoming?

It is a bit floodier than the XPL.

Dedoming(slicing) actually works quite well.

Yes It is open. There was a delay at the supplier. But I finally got them today.

The Q8 reflectors still give you a nice hotspot though even with dome on so you will still get some of that signature Q8 combination love.

Any idea where this reel falls on this chart or do we need to test again?

Edit: I guess T6 after looking at the packaging closer F2T6Q2

Works for me, puts it closer to my personal ideal 4500k color temp Wink

I will take 20 (possibly more depending on exactly when payment is due) 4000k and 20 3000k.

Then if I can find that 5000k part number I can get some of those and try a mixed tint setup. That sounds very enticing.

@Texas Ace, you said my links were dead, right?

Strange. They were not dead 2 weeks ago.

Now I have to go back on the datasheet and search manually.

Ok, I ‘ll write you down in the list. You can pay any time while LED are in stock. Now only about 400/800 of 351D are reserved.

Dear AEDe,
I‘m just checking how much LEDs I need. I get back to you soon. Do you also sell the LH351D 5000K with CRI 90 or CRI 70 only?

T6 Bin would be awesome! That’s going to be similar to a 4A Cree bin. The previous ones Maukka tested were above the BBL line and had some slight green/yellow like the 219C. Maukka applied the minus green Lee filters to bring it back down to the BBL. Hopefully this T6 bin means it will be neutral/rosy without having to apply a green filter.

What was the tint bin of the previous reel?

Edit: F2T7Q2, so like AEDe said, 125K warmer than the current reel and still below BBL.

Interesting that the previous one is supposed to be below the BBL but still came out to have some green like the 219C. Will Maukka be testing one from this reel?

Are you pm-ing people who are on the list for these or did I miss something?

Can I ask a dumb question? Silly

Are the 351B/3000K/90cri and 351D/4000K/90cri in this batch the same as those from the first batch? Or are there slightly different spex?

I mean, despite the “125K warmer”, are the spex the same, just maybe a variation in the batch?

125K colder I think they mean, young padawan. The first batch was a T7 tint, which is slightly below 4K (between 3875K and 4000K, as I see it):

Localized AliExpress links mess up with the language setting of whoever clicks or taps on them. While this is a fault of the AliExpress system, turning localized links into global links helps and is easy; just change the locale letters in the url for www. Example:

https://es.aliexpress.com/item/bla-bla-bla.html turns into https://www.aliexpress.com/item/bla-bla-bla.html. Thumbs Up

Okay, now I’m really not getting it. T7 is mostly below the BBL, and people were saying there were still hints of green like typische 219Cs, and that these were a tad nicer and rosier.

I mean, hey, I like the nekkid tint of 4C Crees, and those are above the BBL, so I’m not complaining, but if these’d be a different CT/tint, I wouldn’t mind springing for more… if there would be an actual tangible difference.

Frankly, the 351Bs look really nice for triple/quads if you wanna make lanterns out of ‘em. Think I pointed people at the bunched quads from AX, and got some regular triples from Illumn, so I might just “need” some more Bs to fill ‘em up. Big Smile
