ReyLight groupbuy: Titanium LAN | New Pineapple | Red Copper Pineapple

Interested in a Ti LAN. I hope they get more.

Is this Titanium the bead-blasted version?

Yes, it is.

Got mine today….Titanium LAN….smooooth a silk…

I’m thinking GOLD TRIT’s! :money_mouth_face:

Got mine today, thanks for offering this M4DM4X.
Beautiful light; size and clip make it perfect for clipping into the corner of my pants pocket.
I use a brighter light during the day and this will be perfect for night use.
The selectable memory function is awesome, threads are smooth, fantastic AA light.

Modded….

Nice!

Got mine today, what a beautiful and tiny light.
The lens is in a little crooked, should I try and fix it or just leave it as is?

Lens (glass) is crooked (curved)? Might send you a new one.
But I have to leave town for one week and cannot reply to anyone during this time.

No, the lens itself is flat, it’s just in there at an angle (I’ll try and get a picture).

edit: Here’s a photo.

Looks like the o-ring isn’t seated into the bezel. You can remove the driver retaining ring, pop the driver out a bit and turn sideways to get at the (brass) pill. The pill will have 2 big slots for the driver ears and 2 little slots. I used a hook scribe to rotate the pill and driver out together. You might have to just bust it loose (the brass pill) and tuck the o-ring into the bezel groove from the outside, and then just tighten the pill up, orientate the driver ears so it sits into the big slots of the pill and replace the retainer.

:+1:

I see, so it should be like on the left side but the all the way around, with the O-ring almost invisible?
I’ll try and do that then, thanks for the instructions.

Your welcome! :+1:

My brass Brass Pineapple also arrived with a quite noticeably uneven bezel lip to glass O-ring gap.

I was able to make it quite a bit better by poking the the O-ring back under the bezel with a fingernail, until my one good working one broke.

Inspired by that partial success, I made a “tool” out of an old razor blade by slightly dulling it and rounding a corner with a fine knife sharpening stone. I packed a bit of silicon lube into the O-Ring gap to help things slide better and avoid pinching/tearing it, and carefully and gently worked my way around the bezel a few times using the dulled, radiused corner of the tool, poking the O-ring back under the bezel lip.

It worked, the gap now looks even all around (after cleaning off the excess silicone).

Very nice looking light, and now topped off with green trit (installed using Norland Optical Adhesive 61 and a 365 nm UV light to cure it).

Guess these lights need some love before using. Cleaned up the threads, tuned the wobbly switch a bit, forced a patina and put a trit in the tail. Starting to like this light now.

i felt already in love with them

is there a chance of a new run in copper… maybe with a special knurling ? kind of the brass one but a more “spiky” version and now comes the tweak … you can call it “litchi”

At what level does the Pineapple Mini Red Copper start and does it have memory?

it starts on moon and nope … no memory after two seconds ! :+1:

Thanks for the answer. Not a light for me then. To bad cause I like the looks and since I lost my cu tool I m on the look out for another cu aaa light.
