Copper S2+ limited edition

If only he sells them as hosts, a triple nichia 219B rose tint is the best combination

Interesting development -

When I first received my Cu S2+ it had a pink cast. Now that it has been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks, it has started turning more orangish. It will be interesting to watch the natural transformation of color as time goes by. It has a coating, but it must not be sealed from oxygen.

A good wipe down with acetone will remove that coating and let that beautiful copper breathe properly.

The copper S2+ host I received is not pink at all. The feel and weight is very substantial and I think with a copper S2+ pill from kiribaru, it is the perfect host for a 4500k 219B 9080 with perfect rosy tint driven hard.

Simon does, you just has to message him. I bought mine as a host.

Mine came in!

Host or complete light?

Complete light.

what a beautiful light

Got my copper S2+ in only 14 days. What a beauty.
Needed only a black boot and a spring-bypass in the tailcap section and presto!
The other lovely lady is my new Enogear SS ECD (yep, with reversed clip)

EDIT: Sorry, the white-balance of this picture is incorrect. The lights are standing on a white piece of paper!

This copper limited edition is begging for a copper 18350 tube. Is there anyway to convince Simon to make one??

does anyone know diameters… I’d like a clip like this… I prefer a mounted clip to a snap on clip…

The diameter of my copper S2+ is exactly 24mm and the recess for the clip to go in (on tailcap) is exactly 23mm

Hope this helps

I got a copper S2+ with Biscotti and 7A XPL HI. It’s a gorgeous light!

I think it needs some ano removed from the battery tube too.

As edited: the white-balance is quite a bit off. This is not a stock green short tube but a blue short tube.
Baked 30 min. at 300’C. Salt and peppa added. It has a vague green hue over it.
Once again: white-balance. These lights are standing on a very WHITE piece of thick watercolor paper.

One click, white balance adjustment…

Hail Dale. We’re not worthy! (Just kidding)

This looks indeed more like the color I saw with my poor old eyes.

No problem, I literally opened it up in Lightroom and clicked Auto White balance on the slightly shadowed bit of white paper between lights (near 18% grey).

White balance is my life. :stuck_out_tongue: (Read… expensive wedding dresses MUST look right!)

I received my copper S2+ with a NW XPL HI and smooth reflector.

I’m glad for this copper limited edition…
However the beam looks like a fried egg with a very yellow center spot.
I have yet to see how it looks outdoor, but i’m a bit disappointed. :frowning:
