NightWatch Avaritia NA40

No Narsil?

I ordered one. If its as bright as the emissar D4 I would be happy. I dont expect 6,000 lumens. I am hoping for longer run times than the emissar and possibly a little less heat due to more mass. I will post what I think of it when it arrives.

Isn’t there like a 5700k version of this emitter? I would love to try it if it wasn’t 6500k CW. I highly doubt this thing can produce more than 5000 lumens on a single 26650, but if it could, that is amazing even if it is only at 0 second.

There seems to be an xhp50.2 version as well if you google it

a sst 50 light will be available next month

A mod friendly light … Swap driver , keep chrging since it is inside the tube , voila !

Now that is an awesome find!!! Interested!!!

Neal confirms that pictures match

there is a youtube review of an eagle eye light direct driven with a single SST40 emitter running around 2400 lumens. I think if the maker can get enough current to each LED, this light might be quite impressive. Can’t wait to get mine…shipping next week is the rumor.

With a reflector and lens installed i doubt any sst40 is doing 2400lm without burning up shortly after

Interested…

With a FET driver it might be able to achieve 5,000lm, but 6,000lm with 7135 driver is impossible.

It could be a 3 channel FET driver, with 1x7135 on the 1st channel, 8x7135 on the second channel, and direct FET on the 3rd channel.

I found the triple XHP50.2 version on a Chinese site but not sure where to order it for the US. Any idea if the triple 50.2 version uses a different driver than the SST40 version? The 50.2 is 6v right?

Oh… it makes sense and Amutorch wouldn’t be the first one to use BLF drivers in their flashlights…

It should be a different driver, as there are 7135s in the sst40 version, meaning the emitters are in parallel.

Would the xhp 50 have more lumens or the sst40?

Every second time I read the name of this light it’s “Avaria” instead of “Avarita”.
And “Avaria” is a homophone of a Polish word for “failure”……

Same thing in Portuguese

yup, xhp50.2 would do maybe over 4000 lumen per led, so 3 led would be over 10000 lumen in theory
but finding or making the driver is pain in the @ss
so SST40 is more suitable for this light

Thank you! I went ahead and pulled the trigger on this one.

Try an “Arius” knife. I always register it as “Anus”. :person_facepalming:
