Just got this 6p inflatable tent. Nice, but not quite a backpack model.

Nice!

Throw in a toilet and shower and I wouldn’t mind camping at all.

And a cooktop and a BBQ. I’d be there!

The grit guard looks like it would work fantastic for letting Littleneck (steamer) clams purge sand before eating them. I have a metal grate, which works, but the whole salt water wanting to rust everything it gets near is rearing it’s ugly head. Usually rake clams and leave them to purge in saltwater for 2 days (I change the water daily).

I bought myself a used PS3 Slim console & controller.

I haven't bought a video game system in many years, and I'm excited!

Congrats raccoon! And please please please do yourself a favour and get The Last of Us!
Apart from the zombie apocalypse setting, I consider this the best game ever! :sunglasses:

Looks like a good game.

I'll probably check it out sooner or later, but my favorite genre is JRPG's, which is why I chose the PS3 over the XB360.

got my pics fixed in ” POST #386”:
Let me know if they work, or not.

vwpieces, not working here in Chrome or Firefox

trying pics once again with new post
If this dont work Google changed things since I last used photos. No other host setup at this time.

Got a 24 pack of LED tubes to swap out the florescent T12 in grage.
Got the 3000K ballast bypass, 18W per tube.
Pretty sweet IMO. Much brighter that the dual 40W tubes, warmer too.
Not done wiring and installing all the fixtures I have but 14 tubes used so far. 10 to go. Will also be splitting the circuit 50/50 or front and rear. Too hot lately to get up in the second floor. Big garage 25X50, second floor is 12X50.

This pic is lit with 6 tubes, one 2 tube fixture on the side and a 4 tube fixture in the middle with a diffuser lens

First pic the white balance corrected too much and the second looks more yellow than actual… Somewhere in between these 2 pics better describes the 3000K tint. Pretty pleasing to the eye and bright enough to work under. But the clear lens does make you see spots if you happen to look into the light. Why I used diffused fixtures directly over the work area.

Nice VW bus! Is it black or very dark aubergine?

vwpieces, the new post shows your pics

woohoo…

Thanks for the confirmation. will delete the other post 386

Bus is a cheap and bad repaint. Looks like the paint mixer put a few too many drops of blue tint in the mix. Gave it a slight purple hue and the oxidization of the paint makes it look worse. Should be a deep darker red but not quite maroon. Everyone asks when are you gonna paint it. I cant because it would get messed up the first day. Its a truck to me. Just had a board fall into it the other week.scratched it but it dont matter. Garage has big 16ft and 14 ft doors ar each end. Had them both open and a good breeze came through and caught the board before I got back to get it. The drive through garage doors are pretty darn sweet especially in the direction of the wind. I need paper weights, chasing paper towels and plastic bags around outside gets old.

Better pic of what color the bus should be.Dash redone, old phone with broken cam…

Ordered a just-released hinged metal hood for my Blackstone 17” Griddle.

After waiting 2 and a half months, my custom made Kiesel bass on the left finally arrived. It was well worth the wait. It plays like butter and sounds great.

Kewel!

You might appreciate this one, then.

Best… bassline… ever.

Oohhh, nice one Glenn. 2 and a half months is not that bad. So can you hear the bass is brighter due to the maple board?

Thanks, pal. As far as being brighter, it’s hard to tell because my other basses (Except for the Jack Casady bass, which has the stock strings on it, have GHS Super Steels on them. They are extremely bright. I’ll let you know when I change my strings. The stock strings sound amazing though.

Here’s a closeup of the birdseye maple headstock. The neck has the same finish.
