I plan to eventually replace the glass lens for a polycarbonate lens (cut out a round from a sheet from the DIY shop). Close to the same light transmission (when it is new at least 
) and no need to be careful with the GT after that

I got my GT awhile back but havent used it much since its 24/7 light out in Alaska nowadays. Anyways theres a blemish on the reflector. Is there any way to get it fixed?
Is it just a small bump? It should not effect the performance of the light so I would not worry about it personally.
If you really want a replacement they should be offering a limited time option to buy a spare reflector from the GT70 group buy
Although it is not clear if the reflectors will only be available with the purchase of a GT70 or not.
No need to worry… I just got my blf gt cw… I found two tiny ding on the reflector… it’s not a big deal and doesn’t effect the beam quality…
I don’t like the new lumintop box… so fragile…
I like the older box from the lumintop… newer box look weak and cheap…
Does the new box have thinner walls, less stiff?
Does it still have the good padding inside?
New lumintop box looks weak, and thin… inside have a same set up ( foams )…
Old blf gt came in two boxes… new blf gt came in one box…
I wish lumintop will ship in two boxes or use one strong box.
The GT was always shipped in 1 box, I have no idea why you got one shipped in 2 boxes.
The new box to my eye looks like the same box except that it was shipped around the world without protection and is beat up now.
The new box box simply more worn or is it made differently?
I think Newlumen meant the early batches were ‘double boxed.’
I was fortunate to get my GT in December 2017. It was a box inside another box.
Ah, yeah that is how they sent the first shipments but now they are just using the single box.
Yeah… all mine were double boxed too from the GB. But the padding inside is what’s important. If the box holds together long enough to keep the padding & contents together, and safely delivered…. that is what counts.
I don’t blame LT for eliminating the outer box…… it was basically an unnecessary expense.
Yea. I am not concerned, as long as the light is not damaged…

Couple of points:
- Were we supposed to have been refunded the shipping charges already?
- Did anyone receive their ordered caps and straps with there flashlights. I was under the impression (and told by Lumintop) that the accessories would ship with the lights.
- Also, is anyone else having issues turning the “360” tailcap strap ring? I’ve tried loosening the nut (how loose before leaks?) but I haven’t been able to budge the ring even with a leverage pin in the ring hole.
