Think they’re looking to communicate (or they’ve already started) with Sofirn since they manufacture the Q8.

We have been communicating with Barry0892 who is working with the factory (same factory & engineers who built the Q8)

Please add me to the list. Thank you!!!

@severide, we are currently in talk with the manufacturer which is currently working with Sofirn, along with its engineers.

@BlueSwordM, very nice :slight_smile:

Informative and Impressive videos. Thanks for this project DBSAR and also to all others that have and continue to contribute.
  ……. ……… and I still think the ‘Official Name’ should be the DBSAR’s BLF/LT ……… ya’ll know we are going to call it the LT anyway……Cudos to DBSAR

Impressive work, please add me to the list.

Thanks  i do like the BLF LT logo design that joechina did ( post #1825) and others seem to like that one too. its reminiscent of the Q8 Logo, but a lantern version. (and the lantern being a BLF project to it seems to work for it.

systemagnostic is number 901 on the interest list

superbob47 is number 902 on the interest list

Thanks also for the second video :+1:

Already signed up for 1. Please put me down for one more. Two in total. Thanks

Am I not on the list?

I am in for one!

Any chance of using the Nichia E21A 2000k 90 CRI emitters? They are said to have alot of red and very high R9 value making it the perfect cozy flame like tint.

Added BRAVO for a second light at number 903 on the interest list.

You are on the list joechina. I sent an updated list to DBSAR a week or so ago (which you are on) but he has not yet updated the OP.

Not everyone can read these online lists (not sure why) but if you can you can see you are on the list.

Wow, that would be a real candlelight. But i guess 2700K is more versatile for most users.

be good in a jack-o-lantern

Doubt it. Efficiency would suffer tremendously, and they are quite hard to get.

Also, that would mean using a non standard board. That would mean people couldn’t mod their lanterns with LEDs and CCTs they want.

But that is a good idea nonetheless.
