Many suggested that, but i felt the lantern t be more of a project for everyone. One suggested: ” BLF-SARlantern ” as a possibility that may work.
I still like DB-LT.

I know blurs or colors are probably not allowed but these are just some ideas that I thought to be cool.
Looks more like French to me.
I like the image of the lantern with rays of light coming out… like a lighthouse.
What about just “BLF” with the lantern image (lighthouse) towering above/beside it?

I vote for short name( I mean what will be engraved on the case) 2 letters or 1letter 1 digit or less.
D4 , Q8 , GT everyone remembers this.
Logo also should be short. It is necessary that the logo be read from a distance, remained readable when the lantern is worn or dirty.
If you choose long(longer that BLF Lantern) name after a year it will be forgoten.
L1 is great. I even suggest more simple “BLF L” where “L” could be stylized. Or even “B L F”. )
