Non Flashlight orders/received

I like mine. Much better than the old workmates.

I based my purchase on the reviews Iā€™ve read. Iā€™m sure Iā€™ll be happy.

Mr. atbglenn please let us know what you think. I trust your review over others.

Why thank you! That said, there are plenty of good reviewers on here. But then again, Iā€™ve been into tools since the mid-1960ā€™s since my dad owned a Hardware Store. Actually, he owned one since 1955. I just didnā€™t get into the hardware thing till I was 13 years of age. Iā€™ll let you know what I think.

No disrespect intended to any others. I do know there is a very real difference between tool owners and tool users thoughā€¦ Also any more pictures of recent creation on your grill will be greatly enjoyed.

Yeah. Flashlights, power tools, and great food. Excuse me while I grab myself a nice cold beer.

Nice scenery alert at 1:29 and 2:29!

Funny, I just knocked off a coupla Warsteiner Dunkels, almost frozen to slush. Yummm!

I could go for some of those burgers, dogs, and brats, though.

Coleman Octagon 98ā€¦ 8 person tentā€¦ comfortable for 3.

Picked this up from Walmart last week, for use with a little portable camping stove. It worked well for making scrambled eggs, boiling water, and reheating stuff last weekend, and it looks like it will last a pretty long time. Never used this kind of fuel before. Always had the pure propane canisters before. Propane is usable down to a lower temp, but as long as temp is above freezing, butane/propane mix works fine.

And here is the stove:

Some stoves feed the fuel with a loop first over the flame and burn it afterwards.
That helps in cold weather.
This is a extreme example: WindProā„¢ II Canister, Liquid Fuel Backpacking Stove | MSRĀ®
It is made for liquid feeding.

Hi Pete, I never heard of Butane/Propane mix. The burner looks great. Enjoy!

Actually, if itā€™s a 50/50 mix of (iso)butane/propane, then itā€™s a drop-in for CFC-12, if you have an old-timey car AC.

I was running HC-12a for years. CFC-12 was obscenely priced (IF you could still find somewhere to buy it), conversions to HFC-134a sucked, and HC-12a was a drop-in replacement (same P/V curves) which worked like a charm. The way the EPA badmouths it and outright lies about its legality, youā€™d think Hitler invented it in his garage.

Did you say cold? Youā€™d have to ā€œdetuneā€ the AC somewhat if you didnā€™t want to actually hang meat in your car on the ride home. Quite a few times the coils would ice-up, and youā€™d have to turn off the AC for a few minutes to let the ice melt, then turn it back on again.

You could buy it (made for ACs) by the can, so two 16oz cans of CFC-12 would be replaced with two ~4oz baby-cans of HC-12a.

Buy these cans in bulk, get the right fittings, and you could make a good living recharging ACs of old-timey cars!

These camping tanks are typically 70-80% butane / 20-30% propane mix. Some of the better brands like Olicamp or MSR use isobutane. This cheap Coleman one does not.

I ordered two Seagate 5TB portable hard drives today.

$110 each plus tax.

Sale ends at 11:59PM PST, and you have to be a subscriber to their email ads to get the deal.

It's not a tremendous sale (especially if you live in a state that has to pay tax), but it's the lowest price I could find right now.

Nice! I just ordered a Seagate Expansion 4 GB Desktop HD for my Media for $94 free shipping and no tax. I have a few 2 GB versions for the past few years with no problems. This will be connected to the Mac Mini connected to my Livingroom 65ā€ LG OLED HDTV replacing a 2GB Seagate which is running out of space.

Picked up a 24ā€ monitor not too long agoā€¦

Nice Pete. I have a 24ā€ Dell monitor on my PC since 2005. Itā€™s been 100% reliable and the picture quality is still close to perfect with no backlight bleed. Iā€™m amazed itā€™s still working. It owes me nothing.

This is Bullsh*t I got this message newegg.com telling me that they couldnā€™t verify my PayPal payment method for my new HD. I checked out my Paypal payment method which is attached to my Visa credit card and everything checks out. Iā€™ve since re-ordered with the same credit card and everything went well. What the hell is going on?

My rabbit cage and bunny coming this week.
