It’s not switch circuitry, it’s driver circuitry.
I think the parasitic drain on the 3 lights mentioned (with switch leds turned off) are a bit higher than the self discharging rate of the battery. It would still take years to fully discharge.
Not too many. Some people just like certain things.

Are there any plans to provide the light as host or at least without the LED if the user wants to use a different LED?
Certain drivers have ultra low electronic switch parasitic drain. Only a few though. If one is planning to use a different driver then things change, parasitic drains can become quite large.
I asked because I may be changing the driver in my GT mini and it may be preferable due to the UI for me to use a mechanical switch. The SS ring around the rubber boot is press fit in the GT mini, not recommended to remove it and I’m sure it wouldn’t be easy to do, might even be loose upon trying to reassemble. Still though, it may be possible to approach the situation from another angle….

Lol, I was saying, it’s an uncomfortable and often unanswered question when a guy asks “Is it mine?”

Sorry for digging up an old post. I just noticed this while catching up on Mini GT news.
A bit different overall than the BLF-348, but we’re in discussions with Sofirn to make an ~8 lumen, high CRI, floody Fenix E01-style twisty:
Focus of this thread
The Sofirn C01: a single 1.5V cell AAA twisty with 5mm high CRI Yuji LED (one version in 3200K, other version in 5600K); co-creation between BLF community and Sofirn; commemorative clone of Fenix E01 and Arc AAA; cockroach light.
Update (2020-10-27)
YES! Available again, perfectly in time for bringing light in days of darkness
Sofirn website: https://sofirnlight.com/c01-aaa-flashlight-5mm-3400k-led-95-cri-p0152.html
Sofirn AliExpress store: https://www.al…
It will not run Anduril, however.
YAY…GOT SHIPPING CONFORMATION LAST NIGHT.
