Fireflies ROT66 Flashlight

@FireFlies:
Is anything glued in this light (driver, MCPCB, bezel, …)?
Will there be a modding host?

I emailed the company something related and they claimed the LH351D would not “fit”. I’m guessing the height of the dome or something may be an issue cause they did mention the LH351B would fit. Not sure…

the board is build for FET+1 or triple channel firmware,
as in design process they were not sure if just use one AMC
so I put like on my drivers 2 jumpers that can switch the board electrical between the firmwares as they use different pinout
I am just not capable doing it in Narsil to much code related to the onboard LED that i could not route to another pin

they use triple channel on the light

In in in!!!!

It's looks awesome!

Group buy please?

Darn it… all these cool new lights coming out and I’ve spent too muchalready yet I really want to get this even while I have a BLF Q8.

Just do it, I have already ordered almost 20 lights just this year alone. hehe

I guess protected batteries is a no go in this flashlight?

Yes, batteries’ length no more than 67mm

driver part with glued
mcpcb fixed by screws
body do not sell seperately

When will these start shipping?

Also what is the actual diameter of the SS bezel so we can look for filters that fit.

All ready , shipping starts before 5th August

SS bezel diameter is 49.5mm

Thanks! And what’s about the bezel?

Was there a post somewhere about a deal on this light happening this week?

EDIT…I just found it….posted by saypat…

I e-mailed them yesterday, got this reply this morning:

Fireflies ROT66, Born for fans of flashlight

So I’m wondering what kind of current this thing draws. Sony VTC6 would be the best option? I haven’t bought cells for mine yet, but seems like it only takes unprotected.

Earlier today I ordered a Fireflies ROT66 flashlight from the Fireflies website using Pay Pal to pay. I have received no email order confirmation from Fireflies. The payment on Pay Pal site is in some sort of limbo - it says: “This is a temporary authorization to make sure your payment method will cover the payment. Your payment method will be charged when * completes your order.”

This seems odd. Is this normal?
