I got the 0603 parts coming in today from Mouser, and the OSHPark 15 mm triple boards (ordered in thin thickness) from Triple_Ace should arrive in a couple days. Hoping I could jury rig in one of these since it has the full support for reliable operation of the Attiny85.
Hhmm - this would be the smallest light modded to run Narsil, if i can pull it off. I have a Skilhunt H15 14500 size light running it now.
If it fits, yes. I did an angled mount of a trimmed 15 mm driver before, in a SolarStorm AA size light (SC01 or SC03??), and it worked out well, and that was with a thicker stock size OSHPark board.
Realized I never posted the final mod of this light, but I finished it in the end of October. Here's some pics:
Pretty great little pocket light now, nice glow from the button, easy to find on the nightstand - I used a warm white switch LED. Smooth ramping w/NarsilTriple w/ramping optimized for the 3 7135's in the 2nd channel. It seems to perform the best with IMREN 16340 here, with a solder blob on top, but does well with the EFEST also.
Hey, sign me up Freeme. The new M3 pro looks great!
I stopped carrying the original M3 due to no charging built in. I’ve been carrying the Jaxmnve clone for the last 6 months since it’s the same size and does have built in charging. It’s “okay”, but no where near as good as the M3.
It looks like their Aliexpress store has the M3 Pro CW full pack (includes battery, add note in checkout for them to include the clip) for $20.54 plus shipping of $4.35. That’s $24.89 total.
The single pack (no battery) is only $1 cheaper. Sale ends in 2 days.
I don’t want to post a link to the On The Road Official Store, but it’s easy to find. Just search for “on the road M3” on Aliexpress and you will find their store.
May have to wait a bit longer as I have requested vendor to review their shipping price for this products. Hopeful, new rep is able to shave a few bucks on it.
