Now we are at the live album part of the evening, then Supertramp live in Paris ( 1979 ) is also executed pretty well both the concert and the mix.
Rocked the “house” on my big ass B&W speakers, mixed with the unmistaken smell of hot tube amps, and also on the Bayer dynamics headset when cool calm and collective.
Great recent posts. I could be the author of them too …
Unfortunately, such a great music like as Supertramp’s is not so popular now.
Most young people do not know about the existence of such groups. Another generation …
sparkyDK, I’m happy that found Taj Mahal some years ago. Pretty late, but it still happened.
And just a spark to a legend with his whole career with Roxy Music - Sir Brian Ferry:
Found the movie “Searching for Sugar Man” in internet with good quality. Tomorrow I can watch it… The references are intriguingly for documentary movie… plus your recommendation Mr. Robowski… I’ll left my opinion then.
Thanks for sharing with us Man Without Shadow! Don’t remember how long I have not heard such a song!
It looks like Jean Michel, but it goes much farther…
I’m sure, if we spend all our life for listening of music, we would find only part of it, that we would define as its own.
So, any side help is welcome…
Thanks Bonham again for reminding us of timeless bands like EWF…
They are indeed my favourite funk band.
And thanks for letting us know about Aretha - The Queen
I just looked it up on the news after I read this.
We can only send our best thoughts to her and wishes for recovery.

My claim to fame is that I met Johnny Winter Three times in my home town of Phoenixville, PA.at the Colonial Theater. My Jimi Hendrix Pictures got me back stage ALL 3 times! My brother took them on April 12, 1969 @ the Spectrum in Philly. Of course Johnny played w/ Jimi and loved him!
People were getting autographs[20 second encounter] and it was more important to me to spend ~ 3 minutes with him, show him the pictures of Jimi and talk about him and Jimi.
The other is I met James Allen Hendrix Twice in his home in Seattle,WA. He is Jimi’s father! The year was 2000, Two years before Al passed away.
I grew up in South Africa in the 70’s and remember the popularity of Rodriguez and the life & times as described in the movie.
The one thing they didn’t really mention was that he was also quite popular in Australia and toured here in 1979 and 1981.
