ENEDED

Realized I never posted the final mod of this light, but I finished it in the end of October. Here's some pics:

Pretty great little pocket light now, nice glow from the button, easy to find on the nightstand - I used a warm white switch LED. Smooth ramping w/NarsilTriple w/ramping optimized for the 3 7135's in the 2nd channel. It seems to perform the best with IMREN 16340 here, with a solder blob on top, but does well with the EFEST also.

i´m interested in one.

Classic trusty OTR M3 getting new updates!

Any chance for a groupbuy?

+1 M3 Pro

I don’t see the advantage of the m3 pro over the type c U16 unless you obsess over weight or need to save space in your pocket.

I am thankful I got an m1 w/ 5c, looks like they are discontinued now.

Hey, sign me up Freeme. The new M3 pro looks great!

I stopped carrying the original M3 due to no charging built in. I’ve been carrying the Jaxmnve clone for the last 6 months since it’s the same size and does have built in charging. It’s “okay”, but no where near as good as the M3.

I’m interested M3 pro

On the Road M3 Pro (2018) Full Pack (Cool white) Code or how do you get deal GB is showing $49.02 at check out

You will need the coupon code to get the lower price. We just have to be patient.

I see On The Road has released many new lights.

It looks like their Aliexpress store has the M3 Pro CW full pack (includes battery, add note in checkout for them to include the clip) for $20.54 plus shipping of $4.35. That’s $24.89 total.

The single pack (no battery) is only $1 cheaper. Sale ends in 2 days.

I don’t want to post a link to the On The Road Official Store, but it’s easy to find. Just search for “on the road M3” on Aliexpress and you will find their store.

Interested in Full Pack, neutral white

Freeme, are you still monitoring this thread?

Just checking.

I will send out today.

Thanks. :+1:

May have to wait a bit longer as I have requested vendor to review their shipping price for this products. Hopeful, new rep is able to shave a few bucks on it.

Hey folks, first post here. I’ve just purchased this torch/flashlight from Banggood and foolishly didn’t realise that I’d bought the package with no cell. Can anyone recommend what cell I should opt for and ideally where to purchase (UK). I can’t find a single review on the M3 pro? The specs suggest: 16340,CR123,Li-ion,RCR123 but new to flashlights so doesn’t really help me out so much. Would appreciate any help! Thanks

EDIT: just read a thread on Reddit stating it’s a sealed cell but I can’t see that being the case?

This light just came out so I don’t think anyone has received it yet. This is why there’s no reviews yet. All you need is a 16340 battery. Since it can draw close to 3 amps, I would go with an unprotected 16340. I know there are a few protected cells capable of 3A, but I’m not sure if their extra length would fit inside the M3 Pro.

Thanks Jason, I didn’t realise it was so new, makes complete sense now. I was originally going to go for the olight S1R but then spotted this. Can’t wait to see a review.

I guess I’ll have to wait for a review then, unless anyone knows some inside info on if a protected 16340 would fit. I’m new to flashlights so protected would perhaps suit me better
