FEBRUARY 2012: NEW Panasonic NCR 18650A 3100mAh batteries $13.96 Protected (black)

that's outta my price range for a ^&%$ 18650 battery.

12.50 each is steep but I believe in panasonics safety wise ,sort of like a Sony product ,usually can’t beat japan made

Why would you order Panasonic cells from China for $12.5 , when on the same Ebay can get them for $10.88 a piece from US seller shipped free ??

The ones I assume u speak of are unprotected , plus I’m sort of loyal , this ebayer is great and always fast compared to most Chinese , just my experience

where is the cheapest price here?

You mean same battery overall or you mean same Panasonic inside? I can see it's the Panny NCR18650A.

Yep, same cell doesn't necessarily mean same performance, if any of the other components are different. If nothing else, it would be good to know the specification of the protection circuit - it was after all the PCB that let down the first batch of intl-outdoor cells. Does the PCB allow a 2C (or more) discharge rate, or is it limited to only 1C?

Seems to be same as RediLast cells.

Wow. This thread went west here. :)

It would have been better to start a new thread regarding the green battery from goinggear.

Same trip, means same number and probably same model of mos. The only difference is that one of Redilast cell displays a very good curve compared to the other NCR18650A cells, at least that is the case with one cell, the the other doesn't match it. But that is normal. How knows, Jason picks them better.

Redilast 5A 2728mAH
IOS 5A 2723mAh

Theses highest two results on 5A discharge from all the protected tested by HKJ.

I just buy 4 protected for 48,99$ shipped... I cant wait to receive it...

I was actually referring to the protection on the cells that Mr.BrightLights mentioned, rather to the protection on the new intl-outdoor cells.

To try and get this back on topic: There has been no reply to this from the original poster.

Hi! There is no reason for me to answer that question, because for the simple reason that I don't know what to answer, because

I have no part in IOS, if you're a gentleman just ask them!

Im not here to solve your problems with them.

Just here to share that the new batts are available, and that current owners can get discount! That's all! Can't help you to get more discount!

I did contact him and the $2.96 credit is really not a good decision as far as I am concerned. The batteries should have been replaced with the proper " as advertised" batteries. No questions asked. As it stands right now, I am really not happy with the current "solution" to the problem. I don't expect anyone to deal with the "bad battery" except me. You took it upon yourself to post this thread and post the solution to the original issue, so it appeared that you were promoting int-outdoors. No problem. No harm, no foul.

Any news if the first buyers will get a better price?

I need four of them, but for this price I would rather buy them somewhere else with a better price without discount, but to be fair they have not been tested yet.

Thanks to the chinesse postal service I have not received mines yet... Cost me 48,99$ x4 protected shipped... From the moon I think...

They have been tested. HKJ tested them and they perform much better than the blue ones.

Are these for real? http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-Panasonic-Li-lion-18650-NCR18650-Rechargeable-Battery-3100mAh-Green-/290687263784?pt=US_Rechargeable_Batteries&hash=item43ae4fa428

Or fakes?

I mean, Panasonic NCR from buyincioins? (thhey sell fake Trustfire flames, like those fakes dx sold)

Heres the link from buyincoins http://www4.buyincoins.com/search--panasonic+ncr----1.html

BIC's NCR's are genuine (at least unprotected ones). I got a 4-pack myself and they perform exactly same as 100% genuine cells from IOS.
