ENEDED

I dont think using unprotected cells in this light is a big deal, i been using double unprotected in my l6 for almost a year and never any issues. as long as using a good quality cell it will work just fine.

Hi Yourrid.

Yes, you are right, not just anodizing but also different color.
My bezel ring and body are both darker than the head and the tailcap. (The two latter is much more shiny.)

BTW: I did not need a bourbon nor a cigar to see that…

The flashlight has LVP, when the battery get below 3V it turns off.

Both Protected and unprotected cells work fine, even my longest Keeppower 5200mAh.

If you decide to use two 26350 batteries please remember the voltage indicator in the switch and the LVP does NOT work.

Thank you very much. Very helpful information. Now I have to choose a 26650 cell . Shockli seems to be the highest capacity. Not many American sources though.

HAHAHA touché :+1:

Mtnelectronics carry them… currently out of stock.

I am on their email alerts list. Any overseas sellers that can be trusted?

NKON (nkon.nl) is going to have the Keeppower 6000mAh (same cells as Shockli uses) back in stock as of August 23, 2018. I‘m not sure how much shipping (plus customs) will be to the US.

Heck, a 4200mAh cell will keep this SC26 lit all night, and then some.

Interested if it’s still available. Thanks.

XHP35 HD CW

XHP35 HI CW

heads up those 2 tints/emitters on banggood shows as sold out in all colors… only XHP35 HD NW and XHP35 HI NW shows as available…

@freeme i asume as with mt09r once colors are sold out its for good?

All colours of the SC26 are production colours, unlike with the MT09R. At least this is what I’ve understood.

I received my second SC26 yesterday - Blue HI CW.

The first was Brown HD NW so i can compare both tints and emitter version. From a couple beams outside and side by side, i can tell there is quite a difference between HD and HI. The former has a wider hot spot, more flood but still some throw. The HI has a tighter hot spot and does throw further. I do like the HD beam because it is more balanced (some flood and some throw) and more useful to me.

Apart from that, i noticed the 18650 (long) tube must have a smaller OD at the tail because the tail cap is not flush as it is with the 18350 tube…

sounds great, i chose the HD for a more wider hot spot, seems more useful too me but we all have our own preferences which is good.

I like both HD and HI actually.

Is a sc26 can fit in 21700?

No only, 1x26350 / 2x26350 / 1x26650 works.

26650 can use 18650 and spacer
21700 has diameter lower than 26650
But the long is 70mm
Is so close to 65mm

Is it could be to fit it?

I just measured my two blue 26350 cells and they are 34.9mm long.

Multiply that by 2 and you get 69.8mm.

I would suspect that there’s enough room in the spring travel to make up .2mm so a 21700 should fit.

ok but why use a cell type that is not advertised that u can use? i dont get it if u really want a light for e special type of cell then why not buy something else then?
