Mine was detailed and showed all the steps. The normal box was in another box inside a plastic envelope and was through Flyt Express. From China to Canada to Kentucky to Houston in 7 days. Neal may have chose a slightly faster shipping option for me, I’m not sure.
Thank you Jason…. :+1:
That probably explains it. Mine is thru China EMS ePacket and has a Tracking Number in this format. LY51xxxxx88CN
Yeah, my tracking number started with F and had all numbers. So they will probably start showing up next week to the US.
I got mine today in the USA so maybe the rest of the USA orders will show up soon.
Here are my measurements from a stock CW GT Mini using a Samsung 30Q.
Tail amps @30s using UT210E:
Top of ramp - 2.85A
Turbo - 5.5A
Parasitic drain normal - 0.18mA
Drain with switch led off- 0.02mACandela @30s and 10 meters using LX1330B:
GT Mini - 148kcd = 769m
Convoy C8 xm-l2 CW - 39kcd = 395m
Stock GT - 1.05mcd = 2,049mLumens using Texas_Ace Lumen Tube calibrated from Maukka’s S2 plus CW:
GT Mini:
Top of ramp:
turn on 720 lm
@30s 705 lmTurbo:
turn on 1240 lm,
@30s 1200 lmConvoy C8 xm-l2 CW
turn on 850 lm,
@30s 785 lm
I managed to measure 4.80-4.81A using the same meter (UT210E) and batt. The batt was around 4.10V before I started the reading. Tint used is also CW (stock config). I used an 11 AWG stranded copper wire to connect the negative terminal to the body.
still waiting for mine. emailed, no response yet, to get an update on when will it ship out.
all lights are shipped out days ago afaik, it depends where u live etc one day it will probably arrive at your door. Its weird JasonWW is in the US and got his light so others should get them also more or less this week…

I think Neal sent mine through a slightly faster shipping service, like 7 day express. The bulk of the US lights are probably using a cheaper, 14 day service like normal.

well thats not fair is it? we all payed the same price ….
Well, the bezel isn’t glued in my light, maybe just luck?
Anyhow, I did some tests today, using a 3 year old Efest purple INR2500 (I think the 2500 LG cell is in there).
So, not the latest and greatest cell there is but still!Measured at 10m for easy calculations using my cheap LX1330B luxmeter I got:
At start @ turbo (double click) 135Kcd
After approx. 30 seconds 130Kcd
After 30 seconds at maximum ramping 78Kcd.Mind you, using what is certainly not the best cell and my light is “NW”, but I would rather say it’s WW (same as with my GT).
It could very well be that using a truly CW led it does better.
The light gets quite hot very quickly so it looks like the heat transfer is good as well.Cheers
Nico
As predicted I measured the light again, this time with a fresh and fully charged Sony VTC6.
I got 140Kcd at turbo and 81Kcd at max ramping.
And yes, this time I did deduct 64Lux ambient light in my basement………
Which means that my previous measurement date should read ad follows:
I got 129Kcd at turbo and 72Kcd at max ramping (with the Efest INR2500)
Cheers,
Nico

No big deal… it is what it is.
I can see if lights shipped with a battery that can cause a delay or even wont be allowed but yea i hope all get their lights soon.
timbuchanan:Using mode select (ie. not ramping) is 100% equivalent to turbo?
It depends on which mode set number you are using.
Modes 1-6 use the top of the ramp as 100%.
Modes 7-12 use full turbo as 100%.
You can download the manual here.
This is the manual that still says it uses a buck driver, just ignore that part.
Sorry Jason,
The GTmini has other modes settings than the big GT.
GTmini has also 50% as top of the ramp whereas a GT has 80%.
The linked manual from Madmax has errors in Modetable, 50% ramp, driver type and some different wording.
@timbuchanan
Yes, 100% in modes equal to TURBO
(was involved in the manual for the GTmini)
Just placed an order for 1 GT Mini CW and 1 VTC6 via Neal’s Deals.
Joechina is there an accurate manual? I was having problems with the mode table last night

I think your confused. I did not mention anything about the big GT or its manual.
I also don’t see any errors in my response as it’s straight from the GT manual.
UPDATE TO MANUAL
After trying mode 4 and mode 10 it appears that the groups are reversed.
Modes 1-6 use full turbo as 100% (5A)
Modes 7-12 use the top of the ramp as 100% (2.5A)
We definitely need an updated manual to reflect this.
Edit: And here it is.

I’m not saying either. I’ll edit my older post.
At first I went by the online manual for the GT Mini, but it was incorrect. Then I tried out both modes 4 and 10 on my light and found mode 4 used 5A and mode 10 used 2.5A. So something was fishy.
Then TA pointed me to the latest updated manual (v5) and it shows a whole new unique set of mode sets not seen in previous versions of NarsilM v1.2
You can use the link I posted to see the levels.
om my production NW i got:
4.70A
nitecore NI18350A toomAh
4.95A
Aspire 1300mAh
5.25Akeeppower IMR18350 (black) 750 mAh
5.60A
shockli IMR 1150mAh
Is the Aspire cell new? Is that result repeatable?
So far I haven’t seen any evidence of the existence of another cell that would compete with Yong Deli (used by Aspire) when it comes to both capacity and internal resistance.
Now that Shockli actually seems to be something different…but I’m not yet convinced.
Also, the Shockli stated capacity is about what would I expect them to state if they used the YongDeli.
is that correct?
Where did this come from?
