As per information from Sofirn Store on Aliexpress “…we will add this new model in Aliexpress shop on next Monday”

Thanks.
I guess I was too lazy to look up the actual specs of the original. I also could have just reached across the table and grabbed my SP10A V1 and counted the mode groups :person_facepalming:

Okay I see now, thanks. Any idea why output in turbo went from 573 lumen’s down to 550. Most of the time output goes up on a newer model not down.

Is it normal to have higher runtimes on Li-Ion batteries than Ni-MH?
Honest question!!

Does it have the stepdown after 3 minutes in Turbo mode?
Thank you.

Yes, it has a stepdown after 3 minutes in Turbo mode.
Considering the stable in circuit and lifetime of LED emitter, the lumen max was adjusted to 550lm.

Thanks, rost333!

Sofirn SP10A V2.0 for $14.59 on Aliexpress (for 3 days)

I picked this light up when it first released. Still waiting for arrival. Normally do not pick up small lights but like Sofirn to take a chance.

Exactly, I have V1.0 and I can’t wait to compare those two

I really hope they fixed impact resistance issues Sofirn SP10B - Impact resistance issues?

Looks fine to me

and

You will like it . I have one from 6mo. ago and it is my work light. Small enough to carry unnoticed and bright enough for close to medium distances. I put a protective ring around the switch so it never activates in the pocket and helps index the button .

Hi Pennzy, can you post a picture of this protective ring around the switch please? Thx!

Sorry but I don’t have what it takes to post pictures . I can tell you what I did though. Simply glued a stainless steel washer over the button. Harbor Freight has assortment packs of stainless and brass washer that seem to match up in size well.I could email a picture if you want.

I’m afraid that you don’t want to post the result as it’s not aesthetically pleasing. I’m I correct?

To upload a picture you can use igmur.com and post a link here

No, I just don’t want to upload pictures to the cloud.

I just bought a blue SP10B (V1) :person_facepalming:

I see that the V 2.0 has a SMO reflector… That’s a drawback for me.
