Ended

My 2600 batteries tested ABOVE specifications at 2706 and 2748 ending @ 3.21v.

Got my two Z1 today, so just two weeks to europe :+1:
Handling is better than i thought

Has anybody measured the parasitic drain in standby mode?

0.17 mA. :+1:

Thanks. Itā€™s not too bad but could be better still.

So a fully charged 3500mAh cell would be drained after 85 days?

More like 858 days.

Btw, mine has been running non stop on the lowest warm white mode for 3 weeks straight. I havenā€™t spoiled myself by measuring the current draw beforehand.

edit: red low battery indicator and the light started flashing just now after 3 weeks.

The item listing says it is discontinuedā€¦ did I miss the boat?

Discontinued is just the label they put on it when they run out of stock. They will get more in stock later.

I just got the one I ordered in today and I have to say I REALLY like it. We had a power outage just the other day and it would of been perfect for that.

I want to get another one when they come back in stock.

Lamp Zanflare T1 ā€œModsā€

I did two little things on my little lantern:

It canā€™t lock out.
In case I want to pack it in a bag and the sensor will switch it on:
Cut an isolation disc out of plastic.
(Any yoghurt cup will serve you)
Lollipop shape (make it 1cm longer than I did and round the tip), fold it so it stays in place while you screw the cap on. For normal use the disc is storred in the battery tube

I canā€™t find the off button when the thing is lit:
A marker out of blake tape aligns with the position on the bottom.

You mean 24 hours for 3 weeks? Wow
The stock battery?
With or without a bypassed spring?

Yes, around the clock, 24/7 for 3 weeks. With Samsung 30Q. No mods.

Nice ideasā€¦ā€¦ I too had trouble locating the off buttton. I took some gitd paint and made a dot on the black frameā€¦ā€¦. although even it can be hard to see when the light is on(which it always is when it needs to be turned off) :student: . I might try the black tape or maybe paint a ā€˜black dotā€™ on the globeā€¦ā€¦ the lockout is cool too! :+1:

On all my T1s, the on/off button is on the exactly opposite side of the logo

Yes mine also, but in the dark I cant find the logo either. :person_facepalming:

I use the lanter mostly in the lowest mode. Then it is easier to place your finger at the mark and youā€™re right on the knob.

Thanks Coscar!

I thought also about paint, but I reckon it wil rub off quickly.

I decided to try a white GITD paint dot on the white globe just above the switch.
I like itā€¦. It shows up good when the light is on but is subtle when the light is off.
And it glows for a while after turning the light off. I plan on putting a coat of clear
fingernail polish on it to keep it in place.
