I may have overreacted. Sorry Flyboy. Having a really rough week. I am using the AA to D adaptors I already have in them cheap Eveready flashlights. That way I will have more AA cells. My EBL cells are really old and don’t hold much charge anymore. I use rechargeables in everything. My TV remote don’t work with the EBL except a few of them.
So I guess I really didn’t need to include the party thing. I just don’t want the price of Eneloop if the Amazon are similar for less $.
My powerex charger has a refresh/analyze mode—you can set the charge discharge rates—with the rest periods in between cycles it takes forever— I usually charge up the cells on other chargers to speed it up a bit—- the opus and litokala are lots faster
Powerex MH—C9000 and the Lii 500 —- do the noir test on the 500 —you can set the charge rate —it has preset discharge rates 500ma and below uses a 250ma discharge —- 700ma and above uses a 500ma discharge —I use the higher ma on AA cells
I use to do 700 ma but I read some post I think from HJK that said if too low a charge current is used it affects the cut off —I don’t know for sure—in most all my cells Ni-Mh Lithium etc —I usually stay some where around half the capacity for my charge rate
Every time I use my Lii-500—- I wish i could of paid extra to put the sliders facing like 99.9% of all other chargers plus a little more space to get 18650 cells out—what a pain in the butt it can be
Hahaha yeah I had that problem with my 30Qs last night. Design like the D4 woulda been nice so you could get your fingers in there… Huge pain in the butt. They just kinda came flying out at once…. Oops
That’s funny. I use to have my chargers sitting on a desk and the desk wasn’t flush with the wall. I would go to take out some cells and would end up launching them into the hidden realm somewhere behind the desk. I would have to grab a light and move the desk to find my torpedo’d cells.
