Samsung LH351D 5000k 90CRI LED $0.74 with Free Overnight Shipping

The difference is the binning. By my read, both are binned into rather large regions, so any given emitter from either order code could be very close to the BBL or pretty far from it. Similarly, any given emitter could be very close to 4000K, or it could be very close to either 4250K or 3750K.

From what I gathered they are both in the same 5A,5B,5C,5D region from the graphs at the bottom of the datasheet. I thought both were 5-step also. I tried looking to see if I could find something that may have stated one was a 3-step and that would be the difference but I didnā€™t find it. So Iā€™m not sure of the difference.

Thanks for the tip moderator007.

Canadians, with respect to my previous comment, the free shipping promo has no minimum, but youā€™ll want to be very careful any shipment is under $20 CAD.

:+1: Iā€™m sure that Iā€™m not the only one who is looking forward to seeing your test results.

You gotta love Arrowā€™s shipping, I ordered on 8/20 and my package is getting delivered today.

I prefer warmer tints, donā€™t even own proper materials for modding lights, and itā€™ll be a while before Iā€™ll have the chance to set up and modā€¦

But I ordered some LEDs anyway because this seems like a great deal. :innocent:

My dog farts were shipped :+1:

I ordered some of all 3 Samsungs too.
I could not figure out from the datasheet what the difference between the 2 types LH351C leds was apart from an output bin difference. Perhaps a tint difference.

Similar thought process. I saw no difference other than the output bin, but thought to order a couple of the lower binned (but more expensive) ones just to check if the tint is different.

Wow, they arrived today! Arrow just got bookmarked.
Thanks again for the tip!!

Iā€™ve ordered : LH351C 5000K 90CRI $0.34/each
As I have some new toys, Iā€™ll provide some feedback after testing :sunglasses:

I got my order today that I placed when I posted this, hard to beat the free overnight shipping.

Any lights shipping with these yet?

HA! Love it! My DA0GF4RTS arrived today. Haven't opened the package yet, but I bet they smell great. Did the price just go up to $2.46?

Just checked, Yelp deal is over.
I do see that some of the LH351Cā€™s are around $1.40 but I donā€™t know what they originally were priced.

Wow, good catch. I threw 4 of these in a S41S last night and really, really like them. Quite bright and seem to run cooler. I was in a rush because it was late. So take my observations with a grain of salt. Also, Iā€™m not a good judge of tint and cri. There was just the slightest hit of green in the corona, but I need a white wall and have to pay attention to see it. Too faint to bother most folks IMHO. Nothing like the LH351K 4K tint at low levels. To me the color rendition and tint are better than the 219C 90CRI that came stock with the S41S. This might become my new favorite emitter. I wish I had bought a bunch now at 34 cents. I may have to by more at 80 cents for 25 pieces.

Why are these cheaper than the LH351D 5K 90CRI? I must be missing something.

Thanks for the alert eas. And again, thank you moderator007 for the initial alert.

They were .34 cents.

Yep. Thatā€™s the original price of their LH351D 90 CRI stocks that I have been seeing for weeks. I bet Arrow noticed the sudden spike in sales of their LH351s these last few days. Thanks to the good people of BLF. Haha
