This is heading the way of the utorch that just disappeared never to be heard of againā€¦

Astrolux just released 3 new models, so I guess the X, MF03 and MF05 got put on the back burner until resources get freeā€™d up.

I didnā€™t realize you were talking to me.

The 3 new models are the MF04, MF04S and MF02S. There are already lots of pics on the forum.

Interested, sitting on nails for this already

Interested if this is still happening

Interested. PRice?

I heard they have started back on the MF03. So I guess they have finished the work on the MF04, MF04S and MF02S.

Maybe now they have shifted their focus back on these other projects.

Interested. Please add me to the list.

Is this the same as the FT01?

I donā€™t know what an FT01 is, but Astrolux has said that this is not a copy of any existing light, this is an original design.

According to freeme, itā€™s not.

What light is he refering to? I Googled FT01 flashlight and got nothing.

Nope. X is a mini thrower with XHP35 HI.
Is this the same as the FT01?
Put me down for one please.
Please offer the battery also as I donā€™t currently own this type.
Thanks

Iā€™m seeing Beam Intensity listed as 96,000cd for FT01, which seems like a mini thrower as well.

This X model with xhp35-HI has a smaller emitter and a bigger reflector so it should easily out throw the FT01.

It looks like this X model will also come with a 50.2 according to the thread title. Now that will be close to the FT01, but the X will still have the bigger reflector which means more throw.

We also donā€™t know about the drivers. The FT01 seems to be about 2200 lumen according to the Mateminco webpage. This X 50.2 might be the same 2200 lumen or it could be 3000 lumen. Weā€™ll have to wait and see.
