Some common battery sizes, and lots of strange battery sizes...

Thanks for the link!

My order arrived. I'm finally now the owner of some D and C sized NiMh cells. Got some other types of cells too.

Only problem now is that I only have one charger that can hold the D-sized cells. At the rate it charges, it takes a couple days to charge a 11,000mAh cell. Time to make some holders for the hobby charger.

Thank you for the alert ZoomieFan.

Do you have any way to measure if this 11 Ah claim is accurate? Just curious.

EDIT: nevermind, I see torchyboy tested them at around 9.3 Ah. Not bad, I guess.

For the limited D cell applications that I have, I normally just use 3AA to D adapters and stuff them with Eneloop Pros, so that gives me around 7.5 Ah. Makes re-charging easy. I can recharge a bunch of Eneloops in 2-3 hours.

Thanks I’ve been meaning to get some spare 30Q’s!

My thoughts exactly—- I have a pet feeder that takes D cells —— I’m gonna make up something to charge them faster than the 500ma charger I have—- Hobby or Opus

Update —— magnets soldered to wires for Hobby Charger

Are those C & D cells low-self-discharge, though?

I haven't seen anything definitive on that. There are some product pages that claim they are. The boxes seem to claim it on the bottom left.
