Imalent unveils R70C – R90C – MS12

Martin, do you have those two lights with you or were you sent those pictures?

I’d really like to know where air goes in and where it comes out.

they sent a few to Chinese reviewers/buyers at first

but I get you that answer ;)

Yeap… i seem many xhp70.2 failed.

holy moly!

video comparison of some lights including
Emisar D4 / MT35 / L6 / MT07S / DX80 and MS12

But i dont get it, both olight and acebeam use xhp70.2 in their lights? and the x70 will use as many emitters as the ms12 so imalent couldnt get it right and chose the older emitters ??

cool video u can def see alot brighter flood then dx80.

Cool video. The last two are monstrous.

Took 2 still screens from the video DX80 vs MS12,

I think we are near the end of the evolution of flood lights. The missing part is the cooling capability which wants updating.

Wow very impressive!

Would of liked to seen the R90C in the mix…. I think I might/would be interested in that one….

the tester did only buy the MS12

btw

I got the groupbuy pricing :D

hope I get the pages done tonight before leaving to Cyprus ;)

How about the R90c? Im waiting for the x70 instead of ms12.

Gonna have fun taking this down the Dangerous Place, how many lumens is the side light putting out?

Sell BLF GT to fund r90c?

Ahhh this is you…dont scare me again…lol…BTW this is ThatCrazyFlashaholic 67.

I tried Google translator with the Chinese buyer-tester and found the following.

DX80 vs MS12: After one year, the DX80’s 32000LM’s first monster status has finally been replaced. The 53000LM’s MS12 is more than DX80, whether it is from parameters or measured performance. The MS12’s light cup has a larger diameter and a slightly larger depth than the DX80. The effect change is that the center spot is slightly smaller than the DX80, and the whole is more concentrated and the long-range is stronger. At the same time, the flood angle is basically the same as the DX80, but the brightness is higher. However, from the perspective of my personal scene, in fact, the visual difference between these two lights is not so obvious. When I open the brightest moment, my heart is silently saying “I X, I am going” and so on. It is the same shock, because the sensitivity of the human eye to high-brightness light sources is gradually reduced. I don’t have an integrating sphere. I can’t test whether the MS12 is virtual, but from the video shooting results, the MS12 is indeed brighter and more powerful than the DX80.

It seems daft pumping over 1000 lumens down a thin snicket but tbh I enjoy watching my videos back and sitting at a table talking about anodisation and knurling for 15 mins isn’t for me.

A company has just asked me to start off indoors and review their light in the style of Adventuresportsflashlights, I’ve told them to *, they can send it to Blippi.

TBH I’d prefer to sacrifice a little candela and graduate the hotspot into the spill a little more. Even though it had god awful petals the DT70’S hotspot isn’t that noticeable and it gives the impression of the DT70 being a lot brighter than 13000 lumens, it helps dissolve tint shift too.

You gotta do you, thats all you can ask for, i do both. Unboxing/Beam Shots…of course your are 20x better then mine…lol…but i just tell what i see…NO LIE…NO BS…just keep it 100.

I have to leave some bits out as my pc crashes a lot editing vids over 10 mins in 4K, things like unboxing and giving in-depth info about every item and showing off the holster have to go.
I love how Advanced knife bro does runtime tests for every * level, but this must take a lot of dedication and will be a huge ask off the batteries and torch. I do put a bit of faith in manufacturer’s claims, especially on water and drop ratings.

As I’ve paid for them, I’m not putting my X80-GT 30m under water and my MS12 won’t ever see rain!

Weird, did u try different web browsers for the videos? it shouldnt crash just take a longer time to load perhaps… yea the so called water proof ratings perhaps dont mean much as the manufacturers claim, like that olight x9r video guy dumped it in the pool for a few minutes it got alot of water inside the tailcap etc…. acebeam are funny they claim 30m waterproof but say not a diving light? hah…

my small olight baton lights i have put under water for many hours, nothing leaks in, i asume bigger lights its easier for water to come in ?

either way im curious now for test wars between the ms12 and x70 which shall be out later this month? let the lumen war begin
