For the aliexpress store, order the light but do not pay yet! Instead, while still in the unpaid order, leave a message with your BLF-name, Barry will check if you are on the interest list and will lower the price for you. Then (I hope it will be quick) “refresh the order” and finish paying.

I assume Aliexpress buyers should still wait for the group buy to start so as to minimize their wait time from Barry.

Just found the Q8 at the Sofriin store on AX. Ok, will wait then until the group buy starts.

What I did:

1. “Place Order” but DO NOT pay yet (select “other payment method”)
2. send a message to the store about this group buy discounted price
3. mention your username here in BLF (your username should be listed in the interest list)
4. wait for the store to adjust the price
5. confirm payment

If I understand the post well it seems that he completed the transaction, so he waited, got the discount and payed. The sofirn Q8 is listed on AI, so why not, if Barry or whoever is ‘attending the store’ it may just have worked

You will need to ask if d_t_a has completed the sale. IDK.

I was just thinking that the AliExpress store has plenty of lights so there’s no need to try and order early.

That is a good question that I have not asked Barry yet. My guess is that as long as the BLF Q8 stays in demand, they will make it.

Technically the BLF Q8 is a Thorfire product, so it would be up to Thorfire to decide if they want to stop making it or not. They have no reason to stop.
