[GB ended,discussion only] CRI > 80+ NICHIA 2000K-6500K [E21A/219B/219C/319A/144A/757GT-F1(Optisolis)]

Your lumen measurements are very reasonable. 7-8% higher is very reasonable considering manufacturers ratings are easily 30+ % higher. No problem and no rush with the few missing items and thanks for including bonus gifts! That was a difficult order with so many different emitter configurations. Thanks for you hard work!

I’m thinking for my next light to use the 4500K E21A, but now you have me thinking about a 3000K as well!
Are the moonlight modes still moonlight with the painted white optics?

Enjoy your new lights!

Regarding E21A emitters, approx. 2 months ago a shortage of some CCTs was announced by Nichia, because of issues with mass production.

Clemence, does this shortage still persist, or we might expect a restock in some time? I just asking this, because I just started to pick items for a new order, and I wonder, if it does worth to wait a few more weeks, or it would be better to proceed with my current order. (I would be interested in 3000K E21A - but would be happy to buy other CCTs not currently stocked as well, e.g. 2700K, 3500K or 5700K)

Moonlight mode still appears sub 1 lumen.

Any R9080 and above Nichias always have some shortage problem. Those are the least demanded LEDs. Except for the Optisolis which has been a sudden boom in the last few months. Nichia is developing a full spectrum grow light LED with normal tint and CCT as Optisolis. These could be a breakthrough for 24 hours farming. No more crop inspection under funny purple lights. I’ll prepare some samples for Maukka if he is OK to test it for us.

I’m afraid I’m not going to order more Nichias for the next 2 months. Already invested in something else. But who knows if (miss) Santa Claus passes by one of these days.

Sure thing!

Unusual CRI rank: Rsp0a
No data available to the public yet.

This is said to be almost similar to Optisolis but with some special spectrum tweaks for optimal plant growth.

Any chance you’d get those 219b sw35k r9080 ones?

Uhm, never know it exist in R9080. I thought only up to R9050

- Clemence

Some guy was selling it on FB and one new special edition HDS will be offered with it.

That sound nice! Never seen them, but I’d be in for that.

I guess I know him :person_facepalming: .
He got those 3500K from somewhere else, not me. I have never interested in 219B series, so forgive my ignorance.

- Clemence

Hmmm… 3500K 219B 9080 sounds delicious…

According to LEDRISE, they can still get the NVSL219B-V1 9080 219B from 3000k all the way to 4500k from Nichia but their MOQ is “one full roll”.

What is that something else? Care to share or is it meant as a surprise for us??

[quote=SKV89]

Hint: you asked one of my surprises before. Don’t worry, I’ll give you a head start later.

Cant wait to see these in the story. Will have to try them if just to collect them all…

^ Must be using a UV pump, because grow lights are full spectrum, including UV and some (near) IR.
Efficiency for the visible part of the spectrum will probably suffer.

Clemence, any chance you’ll be selling the Noctigon 4XP 33mm in the near future? I really want a D4S in 4000k nichia but I don’t entirely trust my stovestop reflow skills for such a high power setup. I’ll do it if I have to but would rather pay to get it done properly.
