Only experienced blindness with very high lumen lights against close objects. When using 14500 lights for inspections of dark areas, cycling through l-m to get to high is tedious . I have both UIs . They both have their uses but for daytime use instant high is ok.
As Blackbeard said, Amazon now has the Zanflare F1 for $18 with a clickable 20% off coupon. With free shipping on Amazon Prime, it ended up $15.56 after tax. Best deal I’ve seen on an F1 in awhile.
Deal seems to be only for CW tint.
weird, no tax in NJ unless its shipped and sold from amazon, I’m liking the light so far, gonna test it outside in a few hours, lots of accessories, good deal.
No momentary on, it will 1/2 press momentary off though, not sure if they changed the tail switch…, but it has good output and decent tint for CW, and seems like a good mix of flood/throw(was very misty out so I can’t accurately assess throwing ability until I get a clear day,) it’s a little bigger in diameter then other lights in this class but overall a really good deal for under $15. It would be better if they had flared out the arms on pocket clip though, it comes unattached and seems like it might scratch light when trying to install.
On amazon home page, near the top is a link for “todays deals”
After you open that then apply filters on the left column, I use “home improvement, Sports and outdoors, Power and hand tools”, then apply the lightning deal filter below that section, then you can go through the pages and click watch deal under an item you are interested in, do this stuff on the website, on your phone you can enable notifications in amazon app and it will remind you when they start
Thanks. I got his one, pretty good light but pretty big… Later I found that the NW version is also available and its a buck cheaper as well, wish I saw that before.
Snagged the NW a couple days ago on Amazon for $14.99 and the 20% coupon. Ended up costing $12.90 here in WA after tax. I’ve bought probably 6 or 8 of the F1 lights and this is least I’ve paid so far. Good deal.
