[♛ FreemeGB] Fireflies PL47 Gen II 4*XP-L/ Nichia/ SST20 Hi CRI 21700 Right Angle Flashlight - ENDED

Are we expecting protected cells to fit in this light?

I’m in

Can I request that a strong magnet be in the tailcap? Or at least give us the option for those that don’t want it. But it’s very useful in my eyes. Thank you!

More photos from Firflies’ Facebook. The size much smaller than I thought.
Size: 88mm x 28mmx25mm
Net weight:72g

yes please

That’s kinda cool that they pushed forward the emitters and optics so the battery could tuck behind it all to make it overall shorter than a Zebralight 18650 headlamp, even though it uses a 21700.

+1 for the magnet option.

Fireflies PL47 equipped with strong magnet tailcap.

Holy cow, can’t believe FF got it down to such a compact size for a 21700 light. :+1: This is how I imagined an Emisar headlamp would look like.

Interested based on price and specs

At ~150g with cell vs. 111g for a Wizard Pro, this is a hefty beast to strap to your forehead.

Interested depending on specs and price to be released.

I think it’s just the oversized/protruding head, but it reminds me of the movie version of Marvin the Paranoid Android.

Interested.

With the emitters to the side of the cell, I wonder why they were placed along an edge instead of in the middle. The chunky look would be a lot easier to pull off in the middle, like the Nitecore HC50. Would probably be easier to wear that way too, and to keep it balanced in a headband holder.

I think alot of people will be using this in their hand instead of wearing it on their head so having it near the edge would be easier to hold. I use my headlamps primarily in the hand or standing, sticking it somewhere.

I do wish Fireflies provide a headband with a convenient plastic holder like the popular Armytek one instead of the typical rubber holders that are so difficult to put on or remove.
