My Atesson spinner in stock form was getting up towards an 8 minute spin on a flat surface. I bought a very high end custom ordered Hybrid Ceramic bearing and Tungsten weights for it and have achieved a vertical spin of 15:10.44. 
Yes, that’s 15 minutes, 10.44 seconds!
Edit: I would be remiss to leave out some specifics, my friend sent me the Atesson spinner that he bought on Amazon for some $15. I then spent $43 for the new bearing and $26 for the weights, in an effort to best his 10 minute spin time. So yeah, while I did best him by a significant margin…it cost me! (SWMBO does not know of this additional incurred cost…. shhhhhh! )
Nice. Mine doesn’t even reach 7 minutes. Maybe I need to clean/lube the bearing?
EDIT: Just rechecked - got close to 8 minutes this time.
Break-in time influences run time. 
NO lube! Oil on the balls inside the bearing will create drag and slow it down. The Atesson uses SS balls in a chromium steel race (51200 I presume) and also has a steel cage that is double sided. It is possible to just wash it out with detergent and hot water and then blow out the remaining water after a good rinse, but it’s imperative it get’s dried good or there could be a possibility of some rust developing.
Dry works best for spinners. Especially ceramic ball spinners. I get that direct from an engineer at a high end bearing company in CA. (yes, I called them)
Got my $6.99 spinner from Amazon. Not impressed. The bearing has play and it only spins for about 90 seconds. I ended up giving it to my neighbors 5 year old son. He loves it.
This one was $4.99. Runtime is about 3 minutes.
Those outer bearings are very light weight, replace those with brass weights or tungsten, changes the game completely.
The brass weights in the $15 Atesson are about 27 grams each, the tungsten aftermarket weights are 45 grams each. Either way, a LOT heavier than those 608 bearings…

Ordered a Parasound Zpre3 preamplifier from Audio Advisor. I have the matching power amp. It’s going to replace my old non-remote controlled Parasound PHP-850 in my bedroom system.

My new PreAmp came yesterday. It’s on the right. The matching Poweramp which I purchased 15 years ago has a rack mount front panel which they don’t offer any more as standard equipment. Oh well. Not that it matters for my use. So far it’s been impressive driving my B&W 603 series 3 loudspeakers in my AV bedroom system.

Thanks, Pete! I purchased them when they were still made in England many years ago. B&W’s are now made in China. Really depressing to be honest. They are very efficient and able to get high volumes out of a 45 watt per channel power amp. It’s for watching my collection of movies, TV shows, and my vast collection of music that I converted from my CD’s in Flac files. For a bedroom system, it’s pretty damn good.
My Aunt has promised me her Bang & Olufsen Beosystem 2500 system, I don’t have it yet though. If I ever heard it working it was many years ago, I do seem to remember it had a great sound but never got to listen to “my” music on it.
I have a blooming Red Savina Habanero plant in my room that is over 6’ tall, it has 3 peppers on it and dozens upon dozens of blooms but it keeps dropping flowers and now some leaves too. I feel like I may be overwatering it so I got a meter to show me the soil moisture level deep down in the pot, hope that solves the issue. That came today and shows a still moderate moisture level even though I watered light almost a week ago. Also got a 4 level soil test kit, have only tested phosphorus so far but it seems good, been using Epsom Salt but can probably slow down some on that according to the test chart. Gotta test Nitrogen and Pot Ash next, see if I need to make some changes. Our water is highly Alkaline and I do believe the peppers like a more acidic soil so I need to address a high PH level. Always something.
No kidding. 
I love floorstanders. I wish I had room for them in my current office. In my old office setup, I used to have these Jamo C607s, which aren’t as nice as your B&Ws, but still decent. They now sit in storage, sadly.
