If I wanted to go that route I would have already done so. The appeal of this GB was the price and availability via Amazon US.
The price is the same between Aliexpress and Amazon US.
Just order on Amazon. I don’t understand your not wanting to. The only real advantage I can think of for ordering on Amazon was faster shipping (I was wrong on this point) and ease of return if it somehow were to be defective. Maybe better tracking info. That’s about it as far as I can tell.
Them are some pretty good advantages. I go out of my way to use Amazon if I can, even paying a few bucks more sometimes. Faster shipping. Who doesn’t like that. Easy returns. Every try returning something to China on your dime? It’s like trying to sneeze and fart at the same time. You can do it but it’s going to be a mess. Better tracking. Chinese tracking is hit or miss at best. God love their good prices and large selection but, I only use the Big Three Chinese when I have to.

Sofirn closes down about 9am or 10am Central USA time zone. They will be opening back up in the next couple hours, around 9pm to 10pm. You can’t expect any replies during non work hours.
I say this because it seems people expect them to answer 24 hours a day. They can’t.

Ask yourself if the bezel ,reflector,heatsink ,lighted switch,springs,glass,body and shipping are worth 10$ to you ?

There is NO WAY they pay NEAR those amounts for said components in an industrial/commercial quantity.

I simply had to do the math on this light personally for me to buy it . I know that even a decent tube light host is usually about $10 and figured there was no way I could get a Q8 host with what I consider nicer looking knurling or anything close to that kind of money .
I said it to convince people on the fence to grab one of these lights . The driver alone is worth the price of the light .
If I just wanted the better knurling and the bottom part what do you think the cost would be ?.$10+.
I wouldn't ship half a light half way across the globe for less than 10$
