Sofirn C8F (triple Cree XP-L, ramping, dual switch)

The C8F is one of the most interesting C8-variants I have ever seen. It also takes 21700 cells. Please enjoy my review:

Thanks for the review.
In mode group 4 can you start from rear switch flashlight on 3500 lumens using momentary on function?

Yes, this works very well. Momentary on on max power is cool. It works with any other output setting too besides ultra low which is restricted to the side switch.

Nice review Markus!! Thank you…. :+1:

THX! Are you with Texas Lumens? Their lights look like tanks, the massive O-rings on the P 60 hosts make the heart of a plumber jump

Does it hv low voltage protection? I intend to use vtc6 or 30q with the light.

Yes as far as I know it does have voltage protection.

Did you ever do the water-testing to see if the sideswitch let water in?

Sure, I test all my lights that way. Submersion for at least 30 min and a water jet from all sides. Plus pushing every button while the light is submerged. If a light fails this test I will complain. There is no way I let something like this fly

Hjeh, kewl.

Great video review. This light is number 1 on my ‘to buy’ list right now.

Nice job I actually saw this before I ordered mine which will be here this week. Thanks

Sofurn C8F with Toykeepers driver and 26650 cell sleeve
would be puuurfect.
The 18650 fine, but it and the 2100’are still too skinny to be comfortable,
long term in the hand.
The 26650 gives more comfort, more run time, more weight.
More everything. The side sw, makes any torch the ideal torch
Old hands do NOT like the end sw.
stiff joints are not conducive to tight corners.
Twisty on/off base with side sw is purrfect.
