Mass production has begun.

Wow, 3 days from “the design not set in stone”, to mass production. And 1 month from a facebook announcement with a CAD drawing to full production. We’ve got the wrong companies working on the BLF lights taking 1 to 3yrs. Mass production also means the specs must be set. Lets hear what they are

The prototype I have is not the final design, so I haven’t shared any pictures. It’s just a close enough design for some testing purposes.

That’s kinda cool that they pushed forward the emitters and optics so the battery could tuck behind it all to make it overall shorter than a Zebralight 18650 headlamp, even though it uses a 21700.

I see a few people in here really care about the length. For me length isn’t much of an issue, it’s the width that makes it uncomfortable to carry.

Yes, regular headlamp belt can be used on this light. PL47 uses 21700, this form factor is not so good for using as a headlamp. Gross weight is near 150 grams including the battery.
