Thanks. I got his one, pretty good light but pretty big… Later I found that the NW version is also available and its a buck cheaper as well, wish I saw that before.
Snagged the NW a couple days ago on Amazon for $14.99 and the 20% coupon. Ended up costing $12.90 here in WA after tax. I’ve bought probably 6 or 8 of the F1 lights and this is least I’ve paid so far. Good deal.
Grab it as a gift for a friend. He has all kinds of different emitters. I just knew he liked them and wouldn’t buy one himself so I figured I would further enable his addiction.
Picked up one of these USB power supply—It has an LCD screen showing voltage—amp draw and capacity — only $7
I’m very surprised the output exceeds it’s rating of 2.4 amp @ 5v—the LCD screen matches my UM25C tester for voltage and amp output but the capacity runs about 10% high
I have one of those and like it. I did not try to verify the performance in any way, but it seems like a good buy, depending on the price. I got one for ~$4.50 on ebay a few weeks back. Periodically they start there at 0.99, and typically sell for between $4 and $5. $7 without bidding is not bad.
the link for today’s deals has disappeared from the home page, I don’t know why but it happens a few times a year…anyway if you want to find it, mouse over the “departments” link near the top, select “full store directory” link, then scroll down near the bottom and look for “bargains: todays deals”
