Snagged the NW a couple days ago on Amazon for $14.99 and the 20% coupon. Ended up costing $12.90 here in WA after tax. I’ve bought probably 6 or 8 of the F1 lights and this is least I’ve paid so far. Good deal.

Imho it,s a very bad nw buy yourself an emitter now before the light arrives.
Grab it as a gift for a friend. He has all kinds of different emitters. I just knew he liked them and wouldn’t buy one himself so I figured I would further enable his addiction.

That makes me a sad raccoon. 
I think it’s not so much the emitter itself as the AR-coated glass which greens up the beam.
Ironically, had Zanflare used cheaper regular glass, ir would’ve been fine.
I got a bunch of ’em, and agree that CW isn’t as yellow-green as the NW. But most non-tint-snobs probably wouldn’t even notice.
Still, for the price it’s a damned good light. If you get it open, try it without the glass before refrying the emitter.
Picked up one of these USB power supply—It has an LCD screen showing voltage—amp draw and capacity — only $7
I’m very surprised the output exceeds it’s rating of 2.4 amp @ 5v—the LCD screen matches my UM25C tester for voltage and amp output but the capacity runs about 10% high

I have one of those and like it. I did not try to verify the performance in any way, but it seems like a good buy, depending on the price. I got one for ~$4.50 on ebay a few weeks back. Periodically they start there at 0.99, and typically sell for between $4 and $5. $7 without bidding is not bad.

For Canadians i believe that price is even better than ordering direct from China with a code.

I ordered a couple of these EBL 26650 Zoomie’s. At $5.99 each they were hard to pass up. I will drop a 26650 in it and use for locking up the chickens, dogs, hunting, evening walking, etc…
The zoomies give a great flat, even, smooth, flooding wall of light that I like. My kiddos like them too.
I will update when I get them in hand. I will be dropping a Keeppower 26650 in them.
I plan for my wife to buy me a Jaxman Z1 XHP50.2 Zoomie for Christmas :D.
That looks like the old W-878; there’s a review thread somewhere. Think back then most of them went to hollow pills. This one is likely also a fake emitter. The original had a direct-drive emitter pulling over 4amps from a 26660.

Got them in today and both are great for around the house, etc. The are bright and put out very good light and compare with many other name brand lights I have.
I’m happy with them.
