Hello, y’all. I have been wanting to ask about this for months, but I’m just now finally getting around to actually posting and asking. I have several older rechargeable flashlights that have been sitting around for months/years that are in need of new batteries, but I’m not sure where to buy new batteries from, nor which type/brand of batteries to try to buy. Cost is a concern; especially, being that I have 5 flashlights I need to buy new batteries for. So, the cheaper, the better; but I would like them to be of good quality, and not buy cheap batteries that will not hold a good charge.
The flashlights that I need new batteries for are:
- an older full-size Rechargeable MAG-LITE
- a Streamlight UltraStinger
- a Streamlight 20XP-LED
- a Streamlight Stinger LED
- a Streamlight PolyStinger
I have accounts on Amazon and eBay and I thought about trying to find some affordable good-quality replacement batteries on there, but it seems like you always have to worry about cheap/fake knockoffs that aren’t of good quality, so I wasn’t sure if there are ways to make sure that you’re buying legitimate/good-quality batteries? Or if some specific sellers are better to buy from? If I could comfortably afford it, I would gladly buy brand new OEM batteries from the manufactures; but, being that that’s not the case, I’d like to try to find some good-quality batteries for as cheaply as possible.
Sorry for the long post. If anyone has any advice or suggestions that they’d like to share with me, I would really appreciate any and all help that I could get with this. Thanks in advance to any who offers a helpful reply!
