Emisar lights are definitely pretty. My favorite so far has to be the Eagle Eye X6 and X5 shape. I like simple, clean designs that include both curvy shapes and straight edges/lines.
Despite everything else that I despise about it (American made, inefficient outdated technology, legendary atrocious beam artifacts, overpriced as hell, etcetera etcetera etcetera), I gotta give it to a classic:
M@g-lite really nailed an elegant look for their backbone model. It’s super simple, but without being drab, because it doesn’t have to be fancy, and even for those outside North America and Europe that never saw a Mag before, it’s instantly recognizable for what it is.
I always found camo on a flashlight to be an oxymoronic idea. When you fumble on the draw and drop it on the wilderness floor at night, don’t you want to be able to find the light?
For me, the more visible the better, and 3tronics’s GITD powder coating is king
Very subjective, defo hanko trident is up there(the tesseract is amazing), love the BOSS design as well. Not too into the fancy metals too much, bit too much in some cases.
For me, a classic which i enjoy as much today as when it was 1st made many years ago. Although a different engine and led/s, i am a big fan of the haiku myself. Nothing blingy or flashy, just a tool that will last generations. Does not age either
