I’m not sure if he used Mosled or MosX.
Djozz used DTP board, black flat has very high power density so mosX is not as good as DTP at these power density (W/mm2) levels.

I meant it regarding the driver plate. But as the head of a 8×7135 Convoy S2+ can reach temp easily above 70-75°C in still room temp air in less than 15 minutes, probably 6A with the E2L host will mean only about 3-4 minutes ‘turbo’ usage before driver protection shutdown mechanism at 105°C will kick in.
Limited qty of subZero switches should be available in 2-3days,spacers too, full kits 2-3days after those.
LD-A4 can handle 6-9A in triple setups,but only with good thermal path between driver's FET surface and flashlight body, something like S2+ thermal enhancement kit from my store would be required.
LD-B4 doesn't have these problems, but mosX boards must be used, and problem with JAXMAN host is that it uses non-standard ~19mm PCB diameter, with max. allowable diameter of ~19.5mm, at least that is what I've heard. Maybe new version of hosts allow 20mm pcbs?
Usually you can sand down pcbs by 0.5-1mm, but with mosX is there is high chance of short between copper top layer and core.
The E2L still does not allow 20mm boards.
What about the high-current drivers? I want to order everything at the same time.

SinkPad makes both Aluminum DTP boards and Copper, while Noctigon are only available in Copper. These are the most recognized brands of DTP boards here, but there may be other brands that do Aluminum DTP boards as well. There is a metal coating over the contact points of the Aluminum DTP board to allow soldering the emitter.
EDIT: We’re talking about led4power made DTP boards here, which are all copper.

Yeah, L4P DTP Copper are said to be the top notch. He offers non-DTP alu boards which are superb too, way better than most non-DTP boards. But sometimes one would want that little edge over what non-DTP offers…
I think testing has shown that in MOST configurations, his MOS-X boards perform at least as well as DTP, and in some cases even better than DTP, because DTP is only great at wicking away heat in the small area of the thermal pad of the emitter. The rest of the board top is heavily insulated from the core.
