You don’t know how true that is! I’m flabbergasted!
Now I’ve been looking at the prizes again, and that Sofirn Q8 looks so tempting… but I’m gonna stick with the EE X6. I think. Maybe. For sure. Uh-hmm. Yep. (I won’t change my mind… I won’t change my mind… I won’t change my mind… but the Q8! I WON’T change my mind… I WON’T… )
Fresh roasted Guatemala coffee beans, to be exact! They smelled so good, I couldn’t resist popping them in my mouth! Forget grinding and brewing, that takes too long!
See, the problem is… I don’t have 4x high drain cells. I only have one VTC5 because someone accidently left it in a light that I got from him a while back. The rest of my 18650’s are all laptop pulls.
Then the Sofirn Q8 would be your best bet. It doesn’t stress the cells as much as the X6, and you could remove the bypasses for still excellent performance since they feature BeCu springs, and be able to use laptop pulls.
Absolute beasts. It’s a chemical rework of the 25R to say the least, and their lower internal resistance can make them punch even harder than the already great 25Rs.
Uh, yeah, I cut a copper disc to replace the pcb in the tail, soldered Blue’s large springs directly to the copper and put a 20ga bypass inside em. Up top, LED4POWER’s MCPCB to take the SST-40’s, a nice thick copper DTP board. Sliced the domes off the 40’s to maintain throw like the HI’s were doing. Put a glass UCL lens with the best AR coatings in the industry up top. That’s all.
Edit: Uh, well, almost all. I also hand drilled the 4 tail screws and hand threaded them to take 8x32 3/4” long screws.
Dale, you’re truly OVER THE TOP! Thanks! I’m seriously overwhelmed! I didn’t even expect to win this GAW! Now, I feel like I won the BLF Jackpot of the yeara lifetime today! Really! What in the world?! I can’t get over it!
