This light has a Prometheus Beta QR Electroless Nickel core that was fairly beaten up and gifted to me so I thought I would rebuild it with some copper.

The head has a copper slug and I made a QTC pill for the tail giving variable output and direct drive when tightened fully.

I decided to make some extra tail accessories. The original light come with the brass hanging attachment.
I made the clip and magnetic attachments. An interesting design using a coiled spring and grooves for retention.

Carabiner clip attachment.

Magnetic Attachment.

Pocket Clip attachment.

Due to the removable nature of the clip it is really only suitable for clipping inside a shirt pocket etc.

I was lurking at the beta attachment system the other day and found the coil spring retaining really innovative !
Well done !

Errrr, I think you’ve forgotten about the little pocket rocket copper beastie you very kindly gave me. Or is she the prototype mam of all of these? Still chugging along nicely by the way.
