MTN Electronics: LEDs - Batteries - Lights - Chargers - Hosts - Drivers - Components - 1-Stop-US Source

But then the team member outside the US needs to get a cut, right? I think as good as Richard is, people who are not in the US are just better off not buying from the US as long as our shipping is so high. Or at least, they should weigh for themselves whether it is worth a little extra cost to buy from Richard. Certainly, for some people, it is worth it.

Yes, it is definitely worth the cost even if shipping to Europe. I like the driver DIY kits and the pre-programmed MCUs. I just thought if envelope shipping inside the USA is possible it might be available also for Europe?! MTN Electronics does a good job shipping overseas. All the components are packed well and the items contained are all listed neatly on the outside of the package. It even arrives in less than a month. You just have to need more than only one driver so that the shipping cost is at least equal to the items cost.

There are unique parts not available or hard to get elsewhere.
There are flashlight shops which could just add Richard’s stuff to the inventory. That’s a small cost for them. I believe may be able to set up their cut in a way that makes such arrangement beneficial to all - themselves, RMM, non-US buyers.

Quick question. Can the 20mm mtn-ddm driver be filed down to 18-19mm and still work well?

I have one filed down to 18.4mm, works fine.

Awesome! Thanks!

For anyone who is wondering

Great News! Congratulations Richard and Lisa on your new baby girl! :+1:

That’s awesome. Congrats Richard & Lisa! Children are such a blessing.

That’s good news. Congratulations Richard and Lisa, wish you all and your daughter the best.

Oh wow congratulations!!!

Congratulations!!!

Congratulations!

I have got a question about two of my MTNElectronics drivers: I mounted the 20mm 7135 driver in a cheap zooming light, it worked well for quite a long time but after I screwed it up recently there is only one of seven modes left. I already controlled for a short and unintentional direct drive but found nothing. My 26mm FET+7135 driver works well with an XHP70.2 but a minute after turn-on it starts a slight and continious annoying flickering. How could I resolve that? All suggestions are welcome! :GRAD:

And a hearty Congratulations to Mother and Daughter from here as well, I know it has been rough but praying y’all see a much smoother ride ahead.

I have the new boost driver in an L2 pushing the XHP-35 HI and love it, very nice to be able to maintain the single cell form factor that I so love in this light and still get the great lumens and punch of the 35 emitter. Thank you Richard!

Congrats! We all know that the nursery will be well lit!

Congrats!!!

congrats.

Congrats Richard!

Do you know when you expect more qlite 17mm 6135 drivers? I hope you do plan on receiving more… used one in my last S2+ build and it works perfect.

Just placed an order with parts for a new build but still need a driver. Planning a Convoy M1 + 219C 90CRI + qlite. Although I just started reading about the LH351D and I may switch to that emitter instead since it seems to have a bit better output.

Oh, guys, BTW, Richard has put up for sale some high current Beryllium Copper springs on his website:

This means most people won’t have to bypass their driver springs anymore, and go on with their time.
