*** NEW *** Haikelite SC26 XHP35 26650/26350 aka Fatty ***Update*** 2018-07-24

I also tested out the lumen. sc26 xhp 35 hi NW is doing 1615 lumen @ 5 seconds… just in case anyone wanted to know.

All it really lacks is a direct path to lowest setting unless it is memorized . Otherwise , the ramping is good and double tap to turbo. That’s not terrible.

I dont use ramping mode, because its slow and you cant quickly go back to previous mode when you are in turbo mode…

I choose modes UI… overall, the light is not bad for the gb price.

Mine with go back to previous mode from turbo in ramping . Double click to turbo, double click back to previous level.

hi, guys.

it is NOT timed stepdown, i run and run and run tests and see different results in cooling\no cooling at 45\55\65 temperature

for the rest, does anyone knows what`s going on with http://haikelite.top/

website is down.

and i have seen other company (head office) of haikelite info before

flashlight manufacturing part disappared. and now all the website is down. do they face some troubles?

^ Haikelite’s website’s been down and up several times this year, so hopefully it will be back up soon.

problem is that it is not reular being down, last week i`ve seen it showing info about company that owns haikelite.
so there was no info about flashlights. all the old link led to this main page.

hope that is really something like desing update.

Working here/now.

thanx!

Please, help. Has received Haikelite SC26 and is very upset. I turn on the flashlight, and I have some leapfrog with the inclusion. In the description it is indicated that by default the mode of gradual increase in brightness is set, and I have one mode, as I understand it, the maximum one. on and off-all. After 5 clicks and after 8 clicks nothing happens either withholding or withholding. Very much I ask to prompt that to me to do or make

What is the runtime from 26350?

My 26350 cells have arrived yesterday and I took the fatty outside for the first time.
My fatty is with XHP35 HI neutral.
I took it together with Emisar D1. These lights have very similar head diameters. Emisar is shorter and much lighter.
Emisar has thinner bezel and a larger reflector. It also has a SMO reflector and a smaller emitter, so the hotspot is quite a bit larger.

As expected, D1 threw farther. But SC26 was not as far behind as I expected and it made up for it with a much nicer beam and higher output. Overall - I like it. I consider EDCing it after I have enough of GT Mini, but I don’t like the thought of thrashing the anodization. With a blue trit SC26 looks nice. I don’t like the shape really, but the blue colour makes up for it.
However, I’d like to boost power some more……which I think is not a good idea. Pok has measured 6.5A at 4.2V, that must get up as the cell discharges. That’s already a lot for 26350 cell……
Maybe switching to Aspire 18350 (which has lower internal resistance) would enable higher output. :person_facepalming:

I’m thinking about filing the threads by several mm. I don’t need protected cell support….but that would ruin the ano on one edge as well, so I’ll probably just reduce the gaps, they total like 1 mm.

@valera, imagine runtime with a 26650/2.5x

That will get you the approximate runtime with a 26350.

what battery are u using ?

Please tell who has already bought the flashlight: which reflector: SMO (smooth) or OP (orange peel) in a GREEN version of the flashlight?

I really like OP reflectors, but on some images in the internet/stores, it only available in the black, gray and brown body colors. However, here, on the forum, some show their navy version with OP reflector. I am very confused.

Or, does the reflector type depends on the led: HD has OP reflector and HI has SMO reflector?

Thank you in advance!

Hey how are you doing and welcome to BLF! I have two green SC26 from the first batch that came out from Banggood. Both are neutral white and high intensity (HI). If I recall correctly, there is only one type of reflector which is a very fine orange peel reflector, like on both my SC26. I can imagine on some pictures this will look like a smooth reflector.
Manufacturers also tend to change specs without communicating, so who knows there are both smooth and orange peel reflectors for the SC26. But I am not aware of this. If there is a smooth and orange peel reflector variant of the SC26, then it makes more sense that it is dependent on the led type as you’ve mentioned instead of body colour.

all colors are available in both smooth and orange peel reflectors high density and high intensity, atleast they are on banggood.

but yes if u chose HD then u will get OP reflector for more flood, chose HI and u get a smooth for a bit more throw but less lumens.

Where did you get this information?

ah they dont offer 2 different reflectors u mean? i thought they did whats the point offer HI emitter if the reflector isnt smooth then? but looking some photos it looks like it is, but perhaps no then?
