Since deciding not to buy anything incorporating micro USB about half year ago I haven’t been that tempted…
My hatred for this connector is only a tad smaller then for mini USB Hopefully S44 will not be as outdated in this matter.

BG says opposite.
1 x Astrolux S43S 4x XP-G3 or Nichia 219C Copper 18350 Flashlight (Without 18650 body tube)

My A6/S41 18650 body is slightly shorter but does lego with S43 n tail cap

Am I correct in thinking the aluminium S43 has a single spring on both ends? It does about 10A.

This S43S seems to have a button on the driver and double springs on the tail cap. It pulls 15A.

I guess they bumped up the power due to the copper head.

S43 is button head too, dual spring tailcap

The head is the same, maybe you mean the bezel shape on the end? Martin is asking about that.
